“My wife and I were blown away by the delicious and impeccably presented food. We enjoyed a few very reasonably priced cocktails, the atmosphere and staff were perfect! I work in central Brighton, so I decided to go on my lunch break. The service was fast and the restaurant was busy but quiet

enough for me to read a few emails. The lunch menu was quite different from the evening cuisine but equally as delicious! I highly recommend anything from the street food menu. The bill was no more money than I would spend on a sandwich and a drink! If you live in Brighton or are visiting for the day you must go to Indian Summer.

“We had several courses and each one was so tasty! For starters we shared the tandoori paneer which was an Indian cheese and it was incredible, we loved the dips that came with it. We also shared the cauliflower and onion pakoras which were crispy and cooked to perfection!

For mains we each had a vegetarian thali dish - which is like several small taster dishes, each one delicious. Bearing in mind neither of us are actually vegetarians and there were plenty of nice looking meat dishes; the flavours were so good that we didn’t find we missed meat at all! The lentil tarka dal was a particular favourite of mine! It felt like Christmas when we ordered the sharing platter for dessert - we were so full up but the food quality was so good that we just had to keep on eating and trying new things! Each little taster was lovely but the mango brûlée was exquisite! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Don’t come expecting your generic tikka masalas or kormas, come expecting something on another level!
