Teen Shaving
This is an ongoing project with Philips to design an electrical product for teenage girls. This is a group project, we have just completed the research stages
These images are screen shots of a motion video I produced as part of a team project. The video presents all our research in a fun and energetic way. To view this video please follow the link below

I used to work in a garden centre and I have illustrated a problem below that occured a lot. Customers who are a little unsteady on their feet but still independent use a walking stick to stable themselves, however when they needed to get out their wallet/purse, they would lean their walking stick against the checkout, a lot of the time it slid and fell. The customers are not able to bend down and pick it up so I picked it up for them. This made me worry about what they would do if they were alone and couldn’t reach it. This inspired me to design a walking stick with rectractable feet.

I created quick prototype models to help me visualise how the product would look/work and feel to the user.
Products with feet are already exist, although the feet are not retractable. This can hinder the way the user walks as they have to shuffle it along causing them to walk slower, rather than use it like a conventional walking stick.
