FASHION BAMBINI ERA OF THE FASHION CHILDREN
SHE’S THAT GIRL YOU SEE IN A FLEETING GLANCE. EXUDING COLOUR, CHARM AND A LITTLE PINCH OF SUGAR & SPICE. TARA IS THE CREATIVE BEHIND @FASHIONBAMBINI, RULING INSTAGRAM WITH HER ARTSY OUTFITS AND SWEET PERSONALITY.
FASHION BAMBINI Where did Fashion Bambini all begin? Way back at the beginning of 2013 in the Summer I decided I wanted to create a YouTube channel. I started posting videos, creating more and more social media accounts and I kept going from there. Were you always experimental with your style? No way! I think I liked to think I dressed well in the past but in hindsight, I had a really generic style. It took me a while to develop an eye for unique pieces and figure out where to shop. Who or what inspires you? Why? I’m so inspired by Iris Apfel! I think we share a similarity in our love for accessories and matching absurd pieces together. She’s been dressing like this for decades, I think it’s incredible… definitely the future me.
Who do you look up to? I really look up to strong female figures who use their power in the media as a tool to spread good messages, such as Malala Yousefzai and Emma Watson. If you could have dinner with anyone in the world who would it be and why? Willow Smith! She has such a unique personality. I’m so interested in her philosophy of life and knowledge about the world. Along with that she’s my favourite music artist, her new album Ardipithecus is incredible. What creative outlet interests you the most? I’m the type of person that likes to dip into all forms of creativity, but I would have to say fashion is an outlet I am fully immersed in. Along with that I’d say photography, mixed media art and journaling are my other main creative outlets.
What’s your ultimate career goal? Social entrepreneur along with being a full-time blogger and YouTuber. Where do you see yourself in 5 years time? In a job I love, doing something creative on the side and being happy with what I have accomplished in life! I don’t want to know the specifics of my life… so I’m just letting my future turn out according to what happens in these next few years. What’s one of your greatest passions? Social justice. One interesting fact about yourself? I am a huge introvert and a really shy person!

FLOW SO FLY
THE ANONYMOUS ARTIST BEHIND @FLOWSOFLY ON INSTAGRAM. BASED IN THE ALPS. INSPIRED BY SEXUALITY, LIFE, PEOPLE, DREAMS, PHOTOGRAPHY, & ART. FLOW’S ART IS A ‘SIMPLIFICATION OF COMPLEX THOUGHTS THAT KEEP YOU UP AT NIGHT’. A PERSONAL FAVOURITE OF FLOW’S SHARED ON THE PAGE ADJACENT. “IT’S ONE OF MY FAVORITES BECAUSE I THINK IN LIFE EVERYTHING IS A MATTER OF PERSPECTIVE. THIS PIECE PLAYS WITH PERSPECTIVE (THE COULD COULD BE LOOKING AT YOU OR TO THE RIGHT) AND THUS REMINDS ME THAT EVERYTHING IN LIFE CAN BE SEEN FROM MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVES, AND THAT REALITY IS SUBJECTIVE.”
Thoughts that keep me awake at night. as we go through life, through this relatively brief period in space and time, we encounter so many things, so many faces, so many places and our brains simplify life so that most of these impressions are hidden from our conscious thought. However, they are not lost, and when we sleep we revisit many of these impressions. many of them have a strong emotional component, love, regret, joy. My art and poetry is an attempt to deal with these hidden impressions, so they are inspired by experiences that happened, and some also that never happened. Some are based on people I’ve met and stories I’ve lived through myself, and others are based on nightly adventures of the mind. - FLOW SO FLY

WHO IS KATE MOSS?
Daijah Johns. Young creative based in the bustling city of Melbourne. Photographer, model, blogger and all round babe. She shared with us a bit about her blog Who is Kate Moss and her boundless creative interests.
Full name: Daijah Elisabeth Johns How to pronounce: Daijah - D-Asia Occupation: Currently working for a new brand under Australian Fashion Labels called TY-LR Why did you start up Who is Kate Moss: I started blogging in 2011 under the name “Alaska White” (At this point I was under the impression that it constantly snowed in Alaska). Initially my Dad was the person who thought I should start blogging, so in 2013 I gave Who is Kate Moss a go and it stuck. Whats your ultimate occupation goal? Creative or Art Director for a magazine
Whats your go to playlist to get inspired? I specifically listen to The Japanese House or The 1975 when I paint, but sometimes just background noise helps me think e.g. Watching the news whilst I brainstorm ideas, sometimes I get way too distracted when listening to music and all I want to do is dance. Who inspires you? The person who makes my coffee for me in the morning What compelled you to start photography? I’ve been involved in modelling since I was a child, and I found more recently when working with photographers, I’d always like to get more involved than I should and basically take over the shoot! So I’ve applied that drive and also some help from my friends who are photographers to my own shoots but I’ve always been fascinated with photography.
What is your favourite creative outlet? That’s so hard to narrow down. They all fall under the same umbrella, if you’re a creative, you’re a creative and that’s how I look at it. Where would you like to live when you’re older? In my own home, wherever that may be. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Physically in New York (or at least abroad). Mentally in Bora Bora - content and relaxed If you could have lunch with one person in the world who would it be and why? Daijah Johns. Wouldn’t it be fascinating to quite literally meet yourself ? I’d also be intrigued to see what I order, if it were anything different because I’m such a creature of habit.

BLEEDING EARTH JENNA PEARSON ART SERIES
BLEEDING EARTH Full name? Jenna Rae Pearson Where are you based? Central Coast, NSW How do you describe your style of art? Simplistic and abstract. Explain the name behind ‘Bleeding Earth’? The way the colours mix sort of remind me of those satellite-type pictures of Earth you see on Google. To mimic that, but with deep reds and pinks, is my way of portraying humanity’s gradual corruption of our world through any means for our own convenience.
What songs do you listen to for creative inspiration? Anything by Bon Iver. Every time. What is your favourite creative outlet? I love to write. I think it’ll always be my most purest, rawest form of self expression. What is your ultimate career goal? I’d like to wake up and be really excited to go to work. The film industry is an area I want to pursue, but I think to be proud and motivated creatively in whatever I end up doing is to me the definition of success.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? I actually can’t imagine myself in 5 years, and I think it’s exciting not knowing. But hopefully I’ve travelled a lot by then, and am really content with where my life is heading. What opportunities do you hope your art will open up? If even one person reads what my art is about and thinks “hey she has a point”, I feel like I’ve seized an opportunity to reveal a piece of what I stand for to someone else. That’s all I really need.
