‘...the artist is only one moment in the whole process, and that moment cannot be the only one that determines the final result.’ Hilde Heynen Architecture should be a haptic experience, bound not only to the present, but to the continuous. I aim to explore the multiplicity of spaces, to encourage an ambiguity between the social programs and the learning spaces. As an artefact weathers, it expresses its identity over time. It also contests the idea that heritage sites should be restored to an idealised past, in stead of creating a relevant contemporary compliment towards it.
