End of Year Catalogue for Kent School of Architecture 2013_Team Leader
[2007-2010]
Previously a graphic design company external to the school took on the task of the catalogue but this year the students took over. Myself and another final year student run a team of 10 students to design and collate a catalogue representing the graduating students work. We sourced our own printers in Cambridge and are currently waiting the arrival of the 300 copies to represent our schools work.

President of Kent Architectural Student Association [KASA] 2011-2012 Organising a team of 12 students from all years to create events for the student body. The main task was contacting architects to give lectures at the university to further students knowledge and interests in the architectural world. The lecture series included Stephen Quinlan from Denton Corker Marshall, Peter Clegg from Feilden Clegg Bradley & Kevin Carmody from Carmody Groarke. Masters Project_The 14th Colony The 14th Colony is an environmental test centre that aids research in climate change by analysing the behavioural patterns of insects such as ants and bees. New colonies are created within the Carcass chamber on an internal scaffolding which allows the biologists on site to observe the behaviour of the nest. Programs used Rhino 3D Modelling for Mac Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator Vectorworks

Masters Project_Independant Study Project The ISP is an integrated written and design project which can be any subject of the students choice. I chose to look into the question of what if 50% of the world was right handed and 50% left handed. A recent average shows that only 10-15% of the worlds population are left handed. Along with writing a 4000 word extended essay I create a book bind and cover that would be comfortable for left and right handed people. The bind allows the book to opened from the left or from the right and able to read the book in the correct order - without double printing the document. Programs used Microsoft Office Adobe InDesign
End of Year Catalogue_2013 Kent School of Architecture Previously the School of Architecture have taken on the task of collecting work from students and creating a catalogue of their work. However this year I decided that we could save the school over £4000 by completing the catlogue ourselves. I organised a team of 10 students to help with the design, templates and monumental task of collecting work from our student peers. In one week we managed to complete the task and have the catalogue ready for the end of year show. I won the Head of School’s Award for my leadership with the catalogue and end of year show. Programs used Adobe InDesign & Illustrator

Part I Work Experience_20 Cannon Street, London The 1960’s vacant office block was originally a six storey building which was last redeveloped in 1980. The concrete frame sits in the centre of London and Denton Corker Marshall took on the project to create a new 6 storey office space in a popular destination. I joined the project at RIBA Stage C , where the scheme was still being developed and designed between the architects and client. The areas on the project which I was involved in included the lobby design - researching materials and arranging presentation boards for clients. I was also an active member in creating a set of general arrangements and construction drawings for the project. North East Perspective After
