Mediterranean cliMate

It is located…from Cataluña to Andalucía, and including the Islas Baleares, Ceuta and Melilla.


Mediterranean cliMate Have mild winters and hot summers.  Have low precipitation, but sometimes high in autumn.  Flora: pine trees, heather, thyme, cactus, palm trees.  Fauna: lynx, rabbits, flamingos. 


continental cliMate ď‚ž

Is located in‌ Inland Spain, Inner Plateau and in Ebro river basin.


continental cliMate Have very cold winters and very hot summers.  Have low precipitation, but sometimes storms in summer.  Flora: coniferous and deciduous trees, thyme.  Fauna: deer, hare, wild boar, foxes, squirrels and trout. 


sUpropical cliMate ï‚ž

Is located in Canary Islands.


sUBtropical cliMate Have mostly high temperatures all year.  Have low precipitation.  Flora: pines, cactus, palm trees, dragon trees.  Fauna: lizards, turtles. 


oceanic cliMate ď‚ž

It is located in‌Navarre, The Basque Country, Asturias, Galicia and parts of Aragon and Castile and Leon.


oceanic cliMate Have cool winters and mild summers and high temperatures all year.  Flora: deciduous trees, oak trees, ferns, mosses …  Fauna: Iberian brown bear, salmon … 


MoUntain cliMate 

Is located… in Asturias, Cantabria, Andorra and Aragón.


MoUntain cliMate Have very cold winters and cool summers.  Have high precipitation, often falling as snow in winter.  Flora: coniferous trees.  Fauna:chamois, vultures. 
