They also work in partnership with other organisations to help people make the most of their money. They are an independent service, set up by government. The Board of the Money Advice Service is appointed by, but acts independently of, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). www.hmrc.gov.uk This is the site of HMRC (Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs), formerly the Inland Revenue.
