FUTURE PLANS Architectural Technology and Construction Management
Laura García Carbajosa
My main goal for the near future is to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible from my constructing architect degree and also from the other projects I am involved. Also I expect to find a practical placement where I can implement everything I have learnt so far while also I improve my skills and know the way in which architecture firms work. In the long term I wish to finish my education at VIA University College and continue with a master program.

Standard approved materials are used when designing the buildings. The outer layer of the exterior wall is made out of a clay bricks, which makes the buildings well appearing in the neighbourhood and gives almost free of maintainance facade. The common access route for each building consists of a staircase and elevator. We choose white plaster for wall finish of the common access route in order to create a warm and attractive atmosphere. When designing the prefabricated cocnrete staircase we took in consideration the standart staircase measurements so that the construction costs would be reduced.
MULTI-STOREY BUILDING
Refurbishment of the old Horsens Prison CONCEPT/ IDEA STEP 1: The old building The main requirements:
The establishment of a new main entrance, including reception, ticket sale, souvenir shop, administration, tourist information, café, depots . Administration and offices at 1. Floor. Energy optimization and sustainable solutions An elevator must be incorporated into the project with access to all floors.
