[ADDITIONAL ROOMING SYSTEM] This project aims at intervening in an existing building, built in the 50s in Santa Coloma. The aim is to adapt the building to the current construction guidelines, as well as offering an additional rooming system. These rooms should be integrated into the present building, using an additional structure to support them. Moreover, theses modules should be able to adapt and be open to an array of possibilities for the occupants. 2014 | ETSAV | Professor: Pere Fuertes

GAUSACS [REHEARSAL AND SOCIAL CENTER] This project was created based on the need of the Castellers of Sant Cugat - Gausacs- in order to find a new space where they could rehearse and socialize. A “castell” is a human tower built traditionally in festivals in Catalonia. During the last years the Gausacs have grown and consolidated as an entity, due to that, their actual rehearsal space doesn’t satisfy the requirements they have. This project was a team work with our whole design class as well as with the entity of castellers, who helped and collaborated with us during all the design of the project.

Rehearsal and Social Center
_Our aim was to analyze all the possible spots where this Center could have its location, and study its environmental conditions in order to choose the one which would adapt the best to the activity.

[BEHIND THE CITY] “Die Stadt hinter der Stadt” These images are the representation of a course taken during my exchange programme in the university of Stuttgart. It was about analyzing the city‘s architecture that remains hidden under the new architecture. After WWII, Germany experienced many changes in society and culture, and it was all reflected also in its architecure. The closing of this course was to make an intervention in different spots of the city, wherethe old architecture was hidden behind the new city.

[URBAN DWELLINGS] Development and restorarion of the Sant Genís area in the outskirts of the city of Rubí. The project involves the design and integration of 1000 single and multi storey housing, working places and public use buildings. The aim is to connect the new undeveloped area with the surrounding neighbourhoods, as well as to create a new link to the city center of Rubí. This connection should provide a new acces to the neighbourgood as well as expand the current commercial network that extends from the city center out to the surrounding neighbourhoods. 2013 | ETSAV | Professor: Enric Massip

[CENTRAL PARK SUMMER PAVILLION] The aim of this competition for students of architecture and young architects, Central Park Summer Pavilion (CPSP) New York, is to create a multi-usage area in the emblematic Central Park that can host different activities in summer. The CPSP is envisioned as a meeting point for different cultural and leisure circuits, with the goal of using the same space for a broad range of daytime and night time activities in a way that respects its surroundings. The idea is for it to become an obligatory stop for visitors to Central Park.

[BUILDING AS DESIGNED] This course was about choosing a design project that was developed during our academic studies and accomplish the executive project of it. We learned how to combine -in a design projejct- all our constructive and structural knowledge. Understanding the design project in order to be able to construct it and think about all its parts to integrate them within a whole.

[BIO-CONSTRUCTION RESTORATION] WORKSHOP The aim of this Workshop was to gain experience with Bio- construction materials, learning about their qualities and their use in architecture. We also used Clay (Ecoclay) in order to restore a Farmhouse located in MontornĂŠs. We used the clay to plaster all the interior walls. The materials that we used where also created by ourselves. 2016 | Base-A Org.

[TRANSPARENCY] This project is based on the relation between empty and full spaces. The horizontal planes are intersected between vertical supports. There are many ways that go through the figure, establishing a way throughout all the horizontal planes, but they are not visible from all the angles, creating an optical illusion. 2012 | ETSAV | Professor: Ricardo Guasch

[ABSTRACT DRAWING] The purpose of this course was to find the drawing that is given by the subconcious. Applying the rules of composition instinctively. It is useful to create a connection between your hand and what you can observe in your surrounding. Therefore this course taught us how to draw with our eyes closed so that we could experience a different point of view of the movement and the shapes that we could interpret at a first glance.
