Laura Strathmann is a Family Court Judge in El Paso, Texas. She began her tenure as a District Court Judge serving El Paso County, Texas. She is currently serving El Paso, Hudspeth and Culbertson Counties through an appointed position by the State of Texas. Throughout her long career she has dedicated herself to helping families find resolution and protecting children who need the support of the legal system. She is a passionate advocate for the rights of children and an involved member of her community.
In her free time, Judge Strathmann ardently gives back to her community through her work as a volunteer. Judge Strathmann serves on the Boards for the Boy Scouts of America Yucca Council, the Paso Del Norte Center of Hope, the League of Women Voters and is an active member/volunteer for the Lady Shriners of North America, the Rotary Club and youth sports organizations.
