ABOUT ME

My name is Laura Saenz de Urturi and am studing my third year of Degree of Graphic Design at the School of Design in Madrid. Graphic Design is considered as the practice of development and implementation of visual messages that provide information, stylistic aspects, identity, persuasion, technological, productive and innovative. This practice and dedication to creating and designing makes me consider myself a designer but I'm constantly learning and enjoying all I can know so as to grow my knowledge and to create, ideate, design .... which I love. My objetive is to feel comfortable with what I do and progress with each of the projects that I do, solving any problems that may arise and

adapting, with my skills, a good result through unique designs. I consider myself a person who likes challenges, innovative and very quickly to resolve any proposal or project to be carried out.. I like working in a team for the diversity of ideas that come with great qualities of organization and involved in projects I do.

The Typography appears to be the art and technique of printing through forms with relief that are called types, which, made ​​of lead, once inked will be applied on the paper to obtain a print job, be it a document, text, and other materials.

TYPOGRAPHY RIJSKFONT Development and design of the project based on the “Masterpieces” from the collection of works from the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam on the occasion of its first anniversary. From the interpretation of his works will be conducted where a printing project is done. The purpose of the standard is to bring the user to the art of these special works. The phases for implementation are:

• Analysis of works from the collection, including the creation looking typography hidden in them, making an extraction of the different glyphs that make up the alphabet. • Give each letter a personal and attractive label, including creating a harmony and style that makes it become a nice typography and tasteful. The fragment of the chosen work is summarized in a picture in black and white. Some of the works used and which have been transformed are the following examples. MODULAR TYPOGRAPHY Typography made through ​​ 8 wooden stamps combined between them give the result of the formation of all the letters in the alphabet. For this design I made an analysis of the 27 letters to specific power the best possible way to carry out a suitable combination previously performed.

Project has been maken with the collage technique in which I have wanted to represent the meaning of the word Eden, It has been seen as the small world inside us, our little paradise that reflects the dreams and our dark world.

Work done with chinesse ink, in which the most important is to play with combinations of strokes, thickness, hand movements, pressure on the paper ... experiencing all the possibilities offered by such varying technique like this and playing with multiplication of elements creating different abstract drawings with much personal character.

Concept Posters

The objective of this project is the development based on a number of basic concepts related to design posters. One premise is that these posters should maintain consistency so that they can be part of the same system. The starting point for the realization of the posters was to use basic geometric shapes such as squares, circles and triangle combined with lines and spot colors of high saturation, trying to get a clean, simple and clear appearance along with a coherence and consistency between them, giving the following result.

Pictures created under the inspiration of the work of Jaromir Funke Czech avant-garde photographer and one of the main representatives who participated in the constructivist and surrealist movements. Frames and abstractions used, under the influence of the new vision. For this project I have taken reference the essential and most important features of his photographs such as the use of light, a light that only between reveals through windows, created or exist, leaving between seeing objects or silhouette thereof for the viewer interpret or imagine what might be behind that combination of shadows and light that is generated when you create these photographs.

A STILL LIFE 25

A still life is a work of art to represent inanimate objects, usually taken from everyday life, which may be natural, animals, fruits, flowers, food or made for the man, cookware, table or house, antiques, books, jewelry, coins, pipes, etc .... in a determinate space. Efemérides is a publishing, film production company and cultural action. Is requested by the customer: New Identity publisher, creating the chart image to Work "UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS (UDHR)" and special edition of the "International Bill of Human Rights", in three languages ​​(Spanish, English, French). To create the brand identity take as a reference the constellations, closely related to the "Ephemerides", as these are are based on constellations and if you look constellations are a conventional grouping of stars, each different from each other but with attributes common as well as the Editorial Efemérides covers different fields, editorial, production, cultural action .... but all united under one style.

ABADIA BROCHURE

The objetive of this work is carring out one invesigation of the visual identity of La Abadia Theatre in order to produce a brochure to keep your characteristics of brand. The project has been divided into the following steps:

Analysis of current visual identity Development of visual identity First proofs Final development The use of the brochure format allows the information hierarchy and structure unequivocally. The development of the brochure is asymmetric and includes a flap that allows the exclusive contemplation of the image of the work, giving the image a special role. In turn, the flap can collect the most relevant information of the work and identify the same by use of a single flat color. The variation of the color and the main image will be the only distinguishing feature of the series.
