The archaeological Park El Caño is located in the Caño, district of Nata, about 2 km after passing the temple that is within the community of El Caño. It extends over a plain drained by the rivers Grande, Cocle of the South, Churubé, and the pipe and another smaller drainage, therefore the floods. The park has about 8 hectares. El Caño Archaeological Park is an essential place to know and feel the historical and cultural features of the province of Cocle. Archaeological findings show that the Coclesano territory was inhabited since the beginning of the fourth millennium BC. Its inhabitants were basically engaged in the practice of agriculture, hunting and fishing. To show the type of daily life of the Coclesano man the museum was instituted with an extensive collection of archaeological pieces from the archeological site. The museum was inaugurated in 1979 in a house built in Spanish colonial style located on the grounds of the archeological site in front of the mortuary mounds existing in the park. The archeological park has two archaeological areas: the structure of basaltic ceremonial columns, some of them carved The largest tomb (about 5 meters long by 3.5 meters wide) contained at least 25 bodies, one of them, apparently of a great lord, was covered with gold and copper garments and accompanied by artifacts made with bones of animals and stones. The Caño was characterized by a complex of mounds that were initially dwellings and then burial places. The relationship between this archaeological complex and the headquarters of the chiefdom in Nata is unknown. The Caño is a very rich site and the ongoing research seeks to determine the origin and evolution of these societies, how they traveled from tribes and egalitarian societies to rank societies.

The Butterfly Hill La Viejas is to date the largest butterfly in Panama, we reproduce and show more than 40 species of butterflies. Enjoy a day surrounded by these spectacular insects in a peaceful environment surrounded by lush vegetation and cool weather. Since it tells that the butterflies or rather, the sanctuary of the butterflies that inhabit it must be clean, each butterfly has function to remain in a habitat so impeccable that it is even curious to enter the sanctuary where they remain; It has been explained on the reproduction of it and is carried out by asexual reproduction and a metamorphosis and of each species a different metamorphosis and reproductions when the adult stage of these is reached. The place sometimes gets so wet and some causes other than pollution affect the species of butterflies, which allows the wings to fall to die and those causes and more butterflies tend to be invulnerable and weak something like flies. Of the small tour that was represented by one of the work explained to us about the butterfly which is considered to be the largest in Panama called "Butterfly Owl" and that represent a beautiful decoration of its name on the wings.

If you visit the zoo the Medlar in the Anton Valley you will be surprised by its cool climate and tranquility. It is an ideal place to relax, meditate or pamper yourself in a hotel with spa. It has a space dedicated to amphibians, the Amphibian Conservation Center of El Valle (EVACC), where you can learn more about these animals and the process of extinction of the golden Frog. As a curious fact, the Medlar is a zoo by chance. The owner of these hectares is an agronomist, who had a private collection of birds and animals. People started giving away sick and abandoned animals. That's how he grew up and became a zoo. Also you can visit the butterfly, Serpentarium, Cerro Gaitan. The zoo Medlar is one of the most tourist places that could be born in the lands of Cocle, by which it cares and keeps the species under risk of any danger, beautiful ecosystem with a view near one of the mountains, very large cages only for the macaws of colors and more cages below where there are other species of birds and many of the species that they did not know. It not only contains animals that any other territory the zoo has places other than others so that they are not at all together for example: there is a house apart where are all the species that there are in Panama on the frogs. Frogs of Panama and I know they could find and monkeys that are also caged with another animal to their species.

In this museum it represents not only the historical objects and found by past events but, that tells us the history of Victoriano Lorenzo that this man, noble, wrestler and one of the characters of the history of Panama that could happen in the denomination. In view of the injustices and iniquities committed by local chiefs against the indigenous population, in 1900 he supported the liberal side against the Conservative central government in the thousand-day war that spread throughout Colombia. At the beginning he and his community were only collaborators but when the Liberals were defeated in July 1900, in the Battle of the "Bridge of Caledonia", Victoriano was responsible for hiding the weapons that the rebels managed to preserve. The government troops were mobilized after the Indians who tried to hide the liberal arms and the CaserĂo de El Cacao was razed and burned by a conservative patrol, commanded by Colonel Pedro Sotomayor, in October 1900. As of October 29, 1900, Victoriano and his people became mountaineers, successful guerrillas and forced the official army to flee Penonome. Occupied PenonomĂŠ on October 10, 1901, all stores were seized and used their articles by guerrilla troops. The Liberal troops then joined the guerrillas who were successful after success. Victoriano was appointed General of the Liberal troops division who, from that moment on, only reaped victories. Unleashed the rebellion of the Aborigines fighting for land and freedom. The influence it exerted among the natives made him the most dangerous boss of the rebellion, because it attracted more and more to its ranks to the rest of the disinherited ones.

Among the activities that accompany scientific research at the Panama Astronomical Observatory (OAP) of the Technological University of Panama, the didactic and pedagogical part is contemplated. They seek to promote and develop the teaching of
science
through
"learning
to
teach".
We
can
easily
show
that
astronomy/astrophysics is able to inspire and motivate students to do science, regardless of branch (chemistry, biology, Physics, etc.). The main objectives of the courses and seminars is to train the teachers so that they can transmit to their students the enriching of this science and all that it can contribute to the scientific and technological development of our country. These seminars and workshops will teach teachers how to build simple, interesting and valuable tools for teaching astronomy. Over time, we will also develop seminars and workshops for all types of audiences.

The visit to the Serpentarium is very educational and the guides give you good information about these reptiles that cause so much fear in some people (I include myself). The staff is very friendly and they make you spend an excellent tour, although the place is small but worth a visit. In the end if you want to allow you to touch or even put on the neck two of the pet boas have, in my case I could get to the neck. The facilities were sloppy and dirty. It's hard to see the snakes through the crystals. Of the guides that make monitor, in the fishbowls you can see up to 10 types of snakes. The Serpentarium is a kind of shelter or transition zone for reptiles who are injured or troubled until they are able to go back to nature in protected areas, and that is good. Its animal rescue program welcomes the snakes who can no longer attend to their original owners and those who are homeless outside their habitat. It is a surprising place in which you can learn in an interactive way with these interesting reptiles. The rescued animals participate in the refuge's educational, conservation and research programs, which not only receives snakes, but also helps other animals, such as crocodiles, alligators and sloths.

Orchid Valley AntĂłn CoclĂŠ A few weeks ago we were in the Anton Valley and we found several new places very little visited within the valley; We had the joy of reaching the orchid or ORQUIDĂ CEO called by its acronym APROVACA: Association of Orchid Producers of the valley and Cabuya, that is incredibly a non-profit association that is basically dedicated to the conservation of beautiful native species and was established on 15 March 2001 for the purpose of protecting endemic species of orchids in danger of extinction and to contribute to the conservation of exceptional biodiversity in the region and the Republic of Panama. But there is no loss to get to the place as there are several signs that indicate its location quite close to the entrance to Anton Valley. Although they have not yet determined the exact number, they estimate that the Republic of Panama is home to at least 1.500 species of orchids, and thus becomes one of the countries where the largest variety of orchids in the world is found. However, the destruction of tropical forests, accelerated by the recent and rapid growth of the Panamanian economy, is themed from its habitat. Just in the valley, some inhabitants illegally continue to tear up species at risk from the local forest and sell them in the market because of their economic situation, at incredible prices. Thus, local flowers are in a truly critical situation.

In short trip we had as experience to the most interesting places we could be in cocle were the places that has given us its great content to certain causes and disadvantages. As I have shown, not everything is interesting in the anticipated place but it was also entertaining for every one of their talks and showing their development of places and also partly carried out to the ancestor history that Panama had as the Indians against the floods between the colonizing period and the struggle of the wars of thousand days brought to the character to the history as Victoriano Lorenzo; From there we discovered other animals that we could witness and see them from close as it was in the zoo of the Medlar and the good refuge of the reptile animals as the Serpentarium. As for the price of each one was quite comfortable to have the authorized characters and show us spectacular images as it was in the minerals of the volcano of Cocle. Meanwhile it was interesting and we could affirm our doubts as soon as the site of the observatory referring to the planets, stars, exoplanets of the interesting talk at the Technological University of Panama one of the branches in Cocle, then gave its interesting stories as mentioned above the universe. To summarize the beautiful places he had represented the Flora of Panama was the orchid of Cocle with a Japanese organization taking care of among them the 1.500 estimated species of orchids found in Panama. To summarize the clear is that it was the most interesting and attractive trips that our teacher and students have done in agreement.
