About me
I am a highly motivated interior design future graduate who enjoys working hard to see ideas and inspirations being implemented. Sketching and interior design are the two main companions that always travel with me wherever I go. Analyzing buildings and interiors sharpen my observation skills and sketching allows me to connect with the subject and build the memories of my trips in a different and more traditional form: the sketchbook.
My goal is to use the weaving of the two fields to produce innovative solutions and become a valuable team member to a
LAURA M. VLADUTU Introduction
I consider myself a curious person, a Lifelong Learner with a passion for visual arts and sustainable solutions to modern problems. Interior Design had thought me the critical value of a habitual space over the mind of an individual and my strong technical background in Physics allowed me to visualize solutions and understand Design on a different level.

DESIGN SCHEME In order to cheer up the athmosphere in the accountancy firm that laks a connection with nature, my solution involves a living wall in the Game Room and potted plants in the Lunch Room and Reception. The main theme for the Game Room is now ‘The Park’ having a moss-like carpet, circular ottomans resembling river rocks and a Fussball Machine.
Project Location: Timisoara, Romania

Existing partition walls are wood panels framed on 5x3cm aluminium grid structures in both the Lunch Room and the Game Room. For a modern and cleaner look, my solution reuses the existing frame and only replaces the wood panels with clear glass and perforated metal sheets for privacy and light filtration.

WINE TASTING ROOM Los Angeles, CA
PROJECT DESCRIPTION Wine Storage Facility in Los Angeles operating since 1999 was looking to extend their business. The scope of the project is to remodel the facility to accomodate a small tasting room for a better use of the long but narrow hallway.
PROGRAMING Planning stage involved researching and understanding Winery’s perspective on their ideal setting for presenting the products including lighting intensity and color temperature, which we felt, would accurately, not only describe the products but also provide an unique wine tasting experience. Existing plain new walls and dropped ceiling tiles would need to be transformed into a dark cellar-inspired space with a bar and longe areas. The Proposed Design will be as cost efficient as possible with minor electrical upgrades. Low lounge seating will alternate with high bar stools and ottomans.

PROPOSED SOLUTION This project design follows a traditional style with subtile rustic and industrial influeces keeping the upgrades to a minimum. Focal lighting is distributed through groups of industrial lightfixtures, suspended long Edison bulbs and bright LED strips. Repainting and polishing the existing concrete flooring will provide a cellar atmosphere throughout the Wine Tasting Room. The long bar counter serves as a display of different types of wines to taste and wraps around the East wall to also serve as a high table for the bar stools. More seating options to the south include a sofa with coffee tables and ottomans and a more private low seating lounge area.
