‘Top’ panel
1
Take panel off / 1. Take out the thumbscrew (T1) that attaches this panel to the back of the computer. Make sure you place the screw in a safe place where you cannot lose it. 2. Slide the panel back a couple of centimeters. 3. Lift the panel from the chassis and place it on a soft, flat surface with image facing upwards.

Put panel on / 4. Locate the left/right and bottom/top of the ‘Top’ panel. Lay the panel flat on top of the computer chassis about 2 centimeters off center, leaving a small gap between the ‘Top’ and ‘Front’ panel. 5. Carefully apply pressure to the panel and slide it forward towards the ‘Front’ panel, to close the gap.

6. Apply thumbscrew (T1) to the back of the panel to re-attach the ‘Top’ panel to the back of the chassis.
‘Side A’ panel
1
Take panel off / 1. Take out the two thumbscrews (A1 and A2) that attach this panel to the back of the computer. Make sure you place the screws in a safe place where you cannot lose them.
A2
2. Slide ‘Side A’ panel backwards a couple of centimeters and lean the top of the panel outwards.

3
3. Carefully detach the two wires connecting to the fan attached to the panel. There should be one black/red wire and one white wire.
4
4. Once the wires are disconnected take the ‘Side A’ panel off and place the panel on a soft, flat surface with the image facing upwards.
5
Take fan off / 5. Use a screw driver to remove the four screws that attach the fan to the ’fan frame’. Place the screws in a place where you cannot lose them. 6. Once all the screws are removed, lift the fan from the ‘fan frame’ and also place it on a soft, flat surface.

positioning the fan
Put fan on / 7. Carefully pick up the fan and place it onto the ‘fan frame’. IMPORTANT: Make sure the fan cables run down the bottom-left of the ‘fan frame’ as you position the fan on the ‘Side A’ panel. In the illustration you can also see how to position the fan in relation to the ‘chickenhead’ grill underneath the ‘fan frame’. 8. Line up the holes and insert the four screws and fasten the fan to the ‘fan frame’.

latch point
latch points bent outwards
bent inwards
Put panel on / 5. Before putting the panel back on check the four ‘latch points’ on the top and bottom of the chassis to make sure they aren’t bent inwards. Locate the left/right and bottom/top of ‘Side A’ and align the bottom of the panel and place it against the bottom of the computer chassis. Hold the panel at an angle and reattach the wires accordingly. 6. Keep the panel aligned to the bottom of the chassis about 2 centimeters off center, leaving a small gap between ‘Side A’ panel and the ‘Front’ panel. Lift the panel slightly to slide it into the ‘latch points’. Now place the panel up against the chassis and make sure it is straight.
6
7. Carefully apply pressure to the top and bottom of the panel and slide it forward, towards the ‘Front’ panel, to close the gap. 8. Apply thumbscrews (A1 and A2) to the back of the panel to re-attach ‘Side A’ panel to the back of the chassis.
7
Note: make sure the panels properly attach to the latch points at the top and bottom of the chassis.

Take panel off / 1. Open the ‘Front’ panel of the computer. Check the screws that attach the panel to the hinges of the chassis. Find a screwdriver that fits the screws (Philips head no. 2). 2. Unscrew bottom and top screws as far as they go, they will not fall out by themselves. 3. Hold the ‘Front’ panel with one hand and take the top and bottom screws out with your other hand. Make sure you place the screws in a safe place where you cannot lose them. 4. Once the panel is detached, place it on a soft, flat surface with the image facing upwards.

Put panel on / 5. Align hinges attached to the chassis to the holes in the top and bottom of the ‘Front’ panel. 6. Put the bottom screw in first and press down on it as far as possible without tightening it. Do the same for the top screw. 7. Now tighten the top and the bottom screw, but make sure they are not screwed in too tight.

3
Note: make sure the panels properly attach to the latch points (similar to ‘Side A’).
4 Put panel on / 3. Before putting the ‘Side B’ panel back on, check the four ‘latch points’ on the top and the bottom of the chassis to make sure they aren’t bent inwards.

4. Locate the left/right and bottom/top of ‘Side B’. Place panel up against the chassis, about 2 centimeters off center, leaving a small gap between ‘Side B’ panel and the ‘Front’ panel. Carefully apply pressure to the top and bottom of the panel and slide it forward, towards the ‘Front’ panel, to close the gap. 5. Apply thumbscrews (B1 and B2) to the back of the panel to re-attach ‘Side B’ panel to the chassis. 6. Carefully lift the chassis and put it back on its feet.
