18th National Session of EYP Ireland

Editorial There you are, delegates. You arrived safe and sound in Dublin, capital city of your beautiful country, for four very intense days. Do not be afraid, these days will undoubtedly be fantastic and unforgettable. Your chairpersons will guide you through the different academic aspects of the session and the organisers will provide you with everything you might possibly need. We, the Media Team, will document, record, report,

photograph, film, and reflect your whole experience at the 18th National Session of EYP Ireland with you, dear delegates, as the centre of our products and attention. The first magazine of the session, INFOTOPICS, is surprisingly on‌ session topics. We hope that the ten infographics compiled here will give you a fresh perspective on your topic but also on other committee topics. You might be rather young and new in the European

Youth Parliament, yet you already have opinions on various matters – whether they are political, societal, economical, religious, and so on -. Recently, there has been a worldwide debate on the role of media, its aims, what it stands for. Simultaneously, the European Union is currently facing a wind of crisis and doubt, and the storm does not apparently seem to go away. We want, for the duration of the session, to give you

the opportunity to take part in such debates. We want you to raise your voice as Eu ropean Citizens of tomorrow. We want you to sail the boat. We hope that you are ready and willing to seize this opportunity and we hope that this magazine and all the upcoming Media Team output will help you to do so. We wish you the most wonderful time. Without further ado, we hope that you enjoy this edition of INFOTOPICS.

On the behalf of the Media Team,

Laure & William
