MISSIONS AFFECTING PEOPLE 1040 Show us our Nineveh... “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it...” Jonah 1:2a Greetings in Jesus name! When you receive this newsletter we will be enroute to Colombo, Sri Lanka. Wars and rumors of war seem to be everywhere but that still does not release us from following Jesus command to Go into all the world and preach the good news of Jesus Christ. Sri Lanka has again erupted into civil war. Bloodshed and the wail of death is again tearing people’s lives apart. The devil does a great job of destroying lives that God created… if they only knew of the Savior. Who will go? Who will mend their wounds? Who Signs of War in Colombo, Sri Lanka will tell the good news of peace from a loving savior? These are questions that ring in my ears these days. We are in a time of prayer and fasting with our local church and I am just enjoying drawing near to Jesus and listening to his heart beat for the lost. Please pray for us the next few weeks as we will be in the heart of the war zone in Sri Lanka. We trust Jesus totally to allow us to bring the gospel to the hurting people. So we are set for ministry time in the war zone of Sri Lanka’s east coast city of Trincomalee. We will bring “Christmas supplies” to over 200 war orphans and resupply the children’s home. This strategy has proven effective to minister inside these hot areas. Piggy backing evangelistic meetings with the children’s ministry gets us into areas that are closed to most outsiders. We will minister to thousands of war refugees… thousands will hear the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Oh yes I am excited as I smell salvation coming! We really ask your prayers for us as we continue to go to the nations. Our vision is to be a focal point of contact for ministry on the mission fields of the world and specifically the 1040 window. This year we are set for new nations to minister in so we are asking your prayers and financial support. We have four big projects we are trusting resources for along with our Blue Lagoon project. The Lord spoke to my spirit to just keep going son… keep going. Will you partner with us to go? We are believing God to double our lives and ministry of MAP 1040 this year. So we are doubling our efforts, double prayers, double time work, double power and presence of the Lord to touch the lost. Come on believe with us... Our targets nations for 2008 are Sri Lanka, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Swaziland, Mozambique, Panama, Costa Rica, Brazil and Italy.
