OUR RESPONSIBILITY ” FOR US, IT’S IMPORTANT THAT OUR GARMENTS HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE WORN ALL DAY,

EVERY DAY OF THE WORK WEEK.

The sustainable garment.

These are garments you wear day in and day out. Garments that really last. We know that our customers wear our garments throughout their entire workday, every day of the week. It is therefore important to us that we can offer garments that really do live up to their promise, every single day.

Our goal is to identify where our environmental impact is the largest and then do everything we can to lower it. Accordingly, our focus is on manufacturing. Our products should be extremely durable and long-lasting, without compromising on comfort or function.

This is why L.Brador always strives to ensure that its products have the longest possible lifespan. And, we apply a lifecycle perspective to every step in the product development process, from the selection of materials and functionality to their timeless design.

We test our garments over and over again.

When choosing materials, we always strive to use the most durable materials possible that will still offer maximum comfort. We also give careful consideration to how each garment will be used by those working in different trades and industries. We want our garments to maintain good quality throughout their lifespan, which is why we test them, over and over again, to ensure that all materials and finished garments live up to our high quality requirements. The garments are tested during the development of our own test pilots who are out in the real world and by our suppliers, in our own lab in Ulricehamn and with third parties. Everything to ensure that the garments meet our requirements. Checks are then made continuously throughout the entire production flow to detect and rectify any deviations. We also do a final quality inspection in production, where a third party visits the factory. A large number of garments are checked during these inspections. When the garments arrive at our warehouse, we also do our own arrival check to ensure the quality.

If a garment has not lived up to expectations, we will investigate the reason for the complaint and try to understand what happened and how we can avoid it happening again. Our customers' feedback and opinions are important to us.

All of the garments we sell must be safe. This means that they must not contain any chemicals that are harmful to those who wear the garments or the environment. We always prioritize working with OEKO-TEX certified materials and accessories in order to ensure that there are no harmful substances in our end products. Furthermore, we collaborate with our suppliers to ensure that the garments do not contain substances at levels that are forbidden, regulated in legislation or on our own restriction list. Samples are taken based on risk assessments to ensure that the garments are safe.

The most important thing we all can do is to use what we have as long as possible. Our responsibility is to develop garments that last a long time. Yours is to take good care of them. With this in mind, we’ve compiled a list of things you can do to take the best possible care of your garments.

For our certified protective garments, it is important that you follow the care instructions that were included with the purchase so that the garment retains its protective properties.

What do I do with the garment after I’m done using it?

Can you give it to someone else who might still be able to use it?

If yes, please do!

Is it impossible to clean or repair it?

Check with your municipality and/or employer to find out how textile waste is managed. If the garment has been contaminated by something, make sure that you sort it correctly in accordance with the applicable environmental regulations.
