Biography Kent Richardson is CEO at Richardson Oliver Insights where he supports customers to develop data-driven strategies based on patent market data and insights. He is also a partner at ROL Group, where he counsels clients on a variety of patent and business matters including patent buying, selling, licensing, valuation, prosecution and operations. Mr Richardson has licensing and marketing patent portfolio experiences resulting in more than $600 million of patent licence bookings. He has also served as an expert witness on patent monetisation and licensing practices in cases in England and the United States. He is a member of the California Bar and a USPTOregistered patent attorney; he holds five US patents, as well as a JD and a BSc in computer engineering from the University of Alberta, Canada.
