DESIGN BRIEF In this project, the brand I choose is called Catapult future cities, who supports ‘advanced urban service’ and sell them to the world. This brand mission is helping other UK companies develop innovative products and services to meet the changing needs of cities. The main design idea of this project is that shows the benefit of 5G network to people so that makes them want to experience and use it. The reason for this idea is that from the research, Catapult focus on 5G network and they believe that it can speed up the development of future cities. However, this technology is testing now and rarely people know that, and due to lack of feedback, local authorities are loath to spend lots of money on this new technology. Therefore, this design idea makes people experience the 5G inside the space and can find out what 5G network is, how it works inside city and what elements it can bring to people.
EVALUATION OF THE BRAND 5G network is fifth generation of mobile communication. It has higher data rata rate, energy saving and higher system capacity. The most advantage of 5G is that it can use Augmented Reality glibly in cities, so the main concept is that in this space people can use 5G, and basic on Augmented Reality system, people can see how 5G change the city and makes cities more interesting and colorful. This design primarily focus on 3 parts: environment, technology and health, because Catapult pays more attention to and work on these, they think these 3 parts can change the cities’ life and give people much better city life. All in all, Catapult faces to future city challenges and want to bring better city life to all citizen, this design use 5G to show the future city, how it changes people normal city life and make city more colorful and better, so when people interact with the space, they can welcome 5G and recognize the brand value.

Helping UK firm to develop innovative products and services to meet the urban challenge needs of future cities. 2. Collaborating with other companies to deal with urban challenges. 3. Finding new solutions to keep the engine running smoothly. 4. Creating inclusive urban environments. 5. Supporting new technology which can fester develop future cities.
5G 5G network is the fifth generation of mobile communication, it targets higher data rates, energy saving and higher system capacity. Moreover, it can use AR and VR smoothly in the city when people go outside without wifi.

THE FLOOR PLAN OF DESIGN
This is the floor plan of this design and main people movement lines. The space layout is distinct, people can move and interact inside freely, because city plan always structured and regional also Catapult aims to give people more convenient and freely city lifes.

When people see the city from far away, it shows many layers from buildings to buildings, so this design emphasize on creating city feeling, so there are a good deal of building layers connect to each others.

Passing direction The city structures have different heights so that outside people also can see the whole design when they pass by. The reason for this design is that this brand really friendly and welcome people, simple and open space can make people feel more welcome and engage in.
These elevations show about different heights of each layer city structures, so outside people can see clearly what happen inside this space.

RENDERED PERSPECTIVE VIEW OF MAIN INTERACT SPACE This is the whole space, simple and painted in white, people can see complete design either inside or outside. This design idea important point is that 5G network can colourful the ordinary city life, people can use 5G smart phone to interact with this space, see how 5G change their city life. Therefore, the basic space need become plain so that when they use 5G smart phone, it can create a strong contrast.
Behind the city structure, there is a painted cloud board, so when people look up they can see the blue sky and high buildings, which also for creating city atmosphere.

USING 5G People can use 5G inside the space, and basic on Augmented Reality, people can interact with the space by themselves, seek out how 5G works and help people in their city daily life.
Each button links to different colour space and shows different aspects of 5G advantage. Everyone can get the 5G smart phone before they go inside the space, and inside the phone, there are 3 buttons, environment, technology and health (Catapult focus on these 3 parts of smart city), people can see how 5G help people on these places.

The layout people can see when they move their phone to seek out the whole space inside 'green' space.
This 'green' space shows that 5G gives people more eco-friendly city life.
When people click on city structures, layout changes, and shows information about how to protect environment.

The 'Blue' space shows more information about 5G, people can experience and find how it works in daily life inside this space.
Short information about 5G, and can see online media smoothly with 5G network.

People can see how and where is the health place to go, and use AR to find the way.
The 'Pink' space shows that 5G can integrate useful information quickly and give to people, also it can help people have healthier city life in the future.
Different buttons links to different healthy places where located in city, people can use 5G and AR to find the place they want to go simply.

Visual direction angle People can experience change colour feeling from the window display as well when they pass the windows. People
There are two same city structures (one in colour, one in white) in the window display, and one double-side mirror in the middle of them, so people can interact with them, see the change from colour to white, and from white to colour. The colours in display all come from three space, so make the whole space uniform.

PATTERN DESIGN This pattern is consisted of different kinds of city windows, when people see into the window display this pattern can increase the city buildings feeling.

First pattern: This one combine different shape of windows, and connect to each other in flat. But the colour is too dark and it lacks of connection with the brand. So the pattern need change and connect to brand.
