July 7 - Black glue painting: Have fun painting a collection of aquatic animals with black glue outlines and watercolour paints.
July 21 - Pom-pom sea creatures: Learn how to create the perfect pom-pom! Turn those pom-poms into sea creatures like a sea turtle or a whale!
July 20 - Create your own book cover: Create a new book cover for your favourite book using whatever medium you choose. Experiment with paint, oil pastel, etc. to re-imagine your book’s cover.
July 25 - Weaving a seahorse with paper: Enjoy an ocean themed story while working on a seahorse craft.
July 28 - Reduce, reuse, & recycle ocean art: Reuse and recycle some everyday items to create this colourful ocean craft while listening to a story about keeping our oceans clean.
July 31 - Pirate spyglass: Create your own spyglass to help you and your band of pirates navigate the high seas!
August 18 - Build a pirate ship: Work on your fine motor skills and develop your problem solving while building your own pirate ship out of cardboard. Decorate your vessel however you want!
August 24 - Pirate head crafternoon: Design a wacky pirate head using your handprint!
Tuesday, July 11 - 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Ages 5-8
Create a colour explosion and make fresh water from salt water. Kids can take part in two activities using water. The program will incorporate elements of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics).

July 22 - Deep sea creatures storytime and craft: Learn about the creatures who live in the deepest depths of the ocean and craft your own to bring home.
August 26 - Buried treasure bottles: Bury simple, small items in a bottle filled with sand and create a sensory toy. While you create, listen to thematic stories and explore our Summer Reading Program, An Ocean of Possibilities.
