Create with Makedo, simple to use, open-ended system of tools for creative cardboard construction. Participants in small groups will be presented with a structural challenge that requires a creative design solution and will be guided through the process of creating a design and using that design to generate a prototype of their structure.

March: Discuss “Maiden Voyage” by Sarah-Jane Bedwell, a story of three girls from different economic classes on the maiden voyage of the ill-fated Titanic.

The Ultimaker 2+ Connect printer lets you print 3D objects. Ready-to-print designs can be downloaded from the internet and adjusted using Ultimaker Cura to make it just right for you. Need to replace your lost hex wrench or want to make a keychain for a friend? Come and see what our new 3D printers can do! The 3D printer can be booked for independent use once you attend a training workshop.
