March 7 – Papier Mâché Containers - Part I: Participants will use papier mâché to build bowls or baskets in this first part of a two-part program.
March 14 – Explore with Electricity- Makey Makey: Explore with Electricity by having fun installing circuits and watching how things respond.
March 21 – Explore with Electricity-littleBits: Explore the workings of electricity using littleBits to create working pieces of electronics.
March 28 – Papier Mâché Containers - Part II: In this second part of the program, participants will paint, decorate and finish the papier mâché containers they built last time.
April 4 – Salt Painting: Create outlines of flowers, leaves or insects with glue and salt. Then watch what happens when you add a bit of watercolour!
April 11 – Create with Cardmaking: Create cards for a special occasion using cardstock, stamps, calligraphy pens, and decorative scissors.
April 18 – Create with Cardmaking: Create more cards for a special occasion using cardstock, stamps, calligraphy pens, and decorative scissors.
April 25 – Yarn Resist Tree Paintings: Wrapping yarn around your painting surface creates spaces that look like birch trunks! What else can you imagine with yarn resistance and paint!
