JOMBA! CONTEMPORARY DANCE EXPERIENCE
Celebrating its twenty-fifth dance festival with their curatorial provocation “(in)tangible heritages”, JOMBA! explores work through both live and digital performances, workshops and artistic encounters, to interrogate a series of dance offerings that negotiate the intersectional trajectories that have allowed us to arrive at this place as critical dance makers.
Their digital platform, OPEN HORIZONS, is where several African dance artists showcased their work responding to this topic using choreography and videography.

OUT OF THE BOX is about being outside the black box, outside the stages and occupying different spaces, but it is, above all, outside the box in the sense of breaking with stereotypes that place us in some places and remove us from so many others. For us, the main reflection of this work is: what will be the Brazilian classic in the future?
By dancing, we are (re)visiting our stories and (re)knowing our past. So, we launch our arrows into the future.
This film will be followed by a Q&A, please see further details at serendipity-uk.com
