Har Gow You can easily identify a Har Gow from the other dumplings. Since it has a smooth shiny skin and nearly transparent. Wheat starch is used in making Har Gow dough, you cannot get the same texture if you use a flour and a water dough and a wonton paper.
Potstickers Potstickers are very famous for how it is cooked. Since the ways of cooking this is too panfried the first side and steamed the second side. In serving Potstickers, the pan-fried side is always shown at the top .
Siu Mai Siu Mai can merely distinguish in its unique shape compare to other dumplings. The shape show alike with a basket and a cup and the filling showing on its top. It is traditional to be filled with meat or prawns. It is normally wrapped in a circle cut wonton wrappers.
Steamed Buns This type of dumplings are called as buns since its unique design shows as the filling meat or seafood are wrapped wholly and gather up into several folds for steaming.
