Moser for mayor Over-the-Rhine 1801 Race St. Cincinnati, OH
In Cncinnati, OH, Jordan Moser has decided to run for mayor in order to help address public and social issues for the community. I was challenged to help Jordan create a campaign office that would allow him to work for his campagin. I was also challenged to define what is today’s office space. By incorprating these two concepts, I designed a space that not only let Jordan work and campagin, but also allowed the community to use it as well.

Meet the Team
JordAn
ED
Jordan is a man in his early thirities who plays a big part in the community and cares about sustainable practices. He practices what he preaches and rides his bike to work everyday. Jordan is also a part of an eco-village community. He aims to reach out to the community to make it more safe and green.
Ed a businessman in his early forties who is an expert in business and market strategies. He is also an advocate in creating a safe city. He also aims to be a voice for the community and helps address public issues and sustainable practices.
Reese
Avery
Reese is one of two interns who just graduated with a mechanical engineering degree from UC. She is a big part of the biking community and is working to design bikes that are more user friendly for the urban community. She believes strongly in Moser’s views and wants to become a part of the movement and create the change.
Avery is our second intern who just graduated with an MBA in marketing. He is also a part of the bike community. Avery is working to increase the bicyclist community through branding and communication around Cincinnati. He believes being a part of Moser’s campaign can be the change to a new city of bicyclists.

A WEEK in the Life of a Mayor MoNDAY Findlay Market is closed, so this gives Jordan and Ed a day to stay in the office and work. They will plan the week out and work on campaign strategies, business decisions,and community activities.
TUESDAY
The office will open at 9 am. Jordan and Ed will spend most of their time at the soup kitchen across the street volunteering and visiting any organizations, hospitals, events that are around the city.
WEDNESDAY
Early Wednesday mornings, Ed and Jordan will run free cycling around the city fitness classes. This gives them chance to get to know to the community and give back their time. A bike shop has agreed to donate some of their bicycles to use for the class for those that do not have any. The rest of the day they will work in the office.
Thursday Ed and Jordan will spend time with city officials and workers and discuss social and political issues with them. They will learn how to work with them, and who they are. They will plan lunches and small events to get know them.
Friday Fridays are a good opportunity to visit community spaces like Washington Park and The Banks to campaign. Volunteers will spend their time in the office campaigning on social media and making telephone calls.

Ed and Jordan have their office spaces open and will be outside around Findlay Market. They will discuss their issues with civilians and pass out brochures to support and market their campaign.
sunday Sunday will be very similar to Saturday. Findlay market is very busy. Ed and Jordan and volunteers will be outside their office campaiging their advocacy at Findlay while getting to know the community.

Campaign warehouse 1330 Monmouth Ave. Cincinnati, OH
In Cncinnati, OH, Jordan Moser’s campaign has grown. Moser’s team has expanded. The location of this space is an empty warehouse next to the American Sign Museum. Not only will the space be used for work, it will also be used for a gathering space for the community. The objective of this project is to create a space that incroprates work life, community and liesure. Campaign Warehouse also gives Moser a chance to brand himself and his campagin and to show the people what they are about.

Blurring the BOUNDARIES OTR Poetry Foundation 1328 Race St. Cincinnati, OH
Blurring the boundaries between poetry and art. The poetry foundation is place where boundaries are not seen as restrictions. Boundaries may be present, but are physically, mentally, and visually, loosely defined. Each space has a meaning and an essence that encourages users to engage socially and academically. Each space may be defined by its walls and furniture, but it’s up the user to determine how it may be used. In this space, boundaries are blurred between the world of poetry and the world itself.

RetroSPECTIVE Designing in Section OTR Poetry Foundation Cincinnati, OH
Retrospective is a factitious poetry foundation located in OTR. The threshold is a foreshadow of the building. The building is compartmentalized into sections but there is a continuous circulation that allows you to see more of the building as you fall deeper into it. Reflect on the experience of the building and/or the experience of life. Recognizing that experiences and memories are what makes you a wholesome person, but you move forward to experience more.
