2011 First Quarter Jan/Feb/Mar Overall home sales in our region continues to improve, slowly. We don’t expect any huge dips nor any large gains in market values, but rather a slow and steady recovery. Anticipated 2011 interest rate hikes will help fuel sales, along with improved general economic climate of our area. But inventory and values are still impacted by distressed properties (bank-owned, and preforeclosure), and it will be a while before we work thru that inventory. Area
