SCHEDULE Wednesday June 26 – depart Newark and fly overnight to London Heathrow enjoying the comfort of an airline that provides brilliant service, great food (select dinner from a menu) and great inflight entertainment to include the latest movies, music and more in your TV seatback. Thursday June 27 – arrive London Heathrow and travel to your hotel in the heart of central London . See London from the top deck of an open-top double decker bus and get a feel for London’s landmarks; Buckingham Palace, home to the Queen when in London; Piccadilly Circus, The National Gallery, Downing Street, home to the British Prime Minister, Big Ben, London Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey where William and Kate were married nearly 2 years ago and more. Friday June 28 – travel to Bedford Modern School (BMS) in Bedford, the county town of Bedfordshire in the east of England. BMS is a unique independent School with an unpretentious environment for boys and girls aged 7 – 18 where focus on the individual pervades the ethos. BMS offers 30 different physical activities, with more than 100 teams and 1000 fixtures during the year. This can include training camps and sports tours as well as hosting overseas teams. Many of the teachers and coaches are recognized at the national level in their respective sport. The girls will travel up to the school for 11.00 a.m., morning break and then experience another culture by observing an english classroom before lunch and playing their hockey game. Saturday June 29 – travel to play Sevenoaks Hockey Club

Sevenoaks Hockey Club shares their pavilion with the Sevenoaks Vine Cricket Club, one of the oldest Cricket Clubs in the world dating back to 1734. The Hockey club itself was formed in 1911. Set in the heart of Sevenoaks, albeit only 30 miles from the centre of London, the clubhouse enjoys a magnificent setting overlooking the Vine. Sevenoaks Hockey Club consists of 10 regular Saturday Men's sides, of which 2 teams are Veterans, and 1 is a youth development squad and 7 regular Saturday Ladies teams, of which 1 is a youth development team. While in Kent experience a meal in a country pub in the heart of the English countryside. Sunday June 30 – travel to Blueharts Club in Hitchin, Hertfordshire an old market town 32 miles north of London. Blueharts Club can trace their origins to 1922 when hockey was introduced to Hitchin Boys Grammar School. Blueharts will host a 3-game format consisting of two Ladies games with a fun mixed game to include your coaches, followed by an evening hosted by the Club.

Monday July 1 – discover the history and romance of London. You will have the opportunity to explore many cultural landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge. Go on the London Eye, at 135 meters high, an observation wheel that allows you to see the entire city from the air. Elect to visit one of London’s great museums such as the British Museum and admire all the cultural treasures amassed over centuries. Visit St. Paul’s Cathedral, one of the most famous landmarks in London and venue for the marriage of Prince Charles to Princess Diana. (Details to be further defined and can include requests by the group). Tuesday July 2 – leisurely morning for further sightseeing/shopping etc. followed by hockey at Wapping Hockey Club, walking distance to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Founded by Tim Poeton (RFE Corporate) in 1989 this club started with one men’s team and now supports 8 men’s teams and 5 ladies. You will play a team captained by RFE Alum Alix Poeton who now lives in London and plays for Wapping. Wednesday July 3 – your week is over! Pack up and head to Heathrow for your flight home to share your memories and a life changing experience as you celebrate July 4 with your families. >> THE TEAM Any parents who wish to travel with their daughters will be welcome on all trips with the exception of the Friday school visit when an alternative will be offered, local to the school, before the game. To make this trip viable we need a minimum of 18 participants of which 14 must be players. An expression of interest is required by Sunday February 3rd via email to corporate@rapidfireelite.com. Provided we have sufficient interest a commitment will be made with our travel partners/hosting clubs, hockey games confirmed etc. >> COST The cost per person (18 participants or more) will be $2950 per person to include return air travel/taxes Newark to London Heathrow, airport transportation to and from the hotel, 6 nights accommodation based on two sharing a room, and most meals as well as transportation to and from the hockey games. Payments will be split as follows: 1) Deposit (non refundable) of $600 payable to lock in flight/hotel etc. to ensure discounted rates (due February 18th); 2) 2nd payment of $850 due March 29th; 3) 3rd payment of $850 due April 26th; 4) Final payment of $650 due May 17th.
