Taiwan was once an agricultural society. Whenever there was a special occasion, either a wedding or funeral, local villagers would help prepare a gathering together for family and friends. Tables were placed and set outdoors for lunch or dinner so people could enjoy meals and share conversations. This form of gathering later became roadside banquets which can only be seen in Taiwan as a unique part of the culture.

Canmeng AVEDA is a brand with care and awareness of environmental sustainability. I was responsible for all the graphic related design works from brochures, newsletters, event posters, photography, to store display. I also helped with the design of marketing mater ials and over all visuals for var ious event promotions, such as Earth Day, product launch press conferences, and art exhibitions. Beyond design, I also tried to search for environmental friendly solutions for printing and packaging.

London Central Saint Martins Short Courses
STUDIES In order to get more inspiration and broaden my horizons, I decided to go to London for fur ther studies at Central Saint Mar tins College of Ar t and Design. During the four months, I explored different cultures and possibilities, learned design thinking, as well as more aspects about design.From magazine visuals and layout, developing photos in the darkroom, pop-up books, to jewelr y design, the courses allowed me to not only learn new skills, but also to enhance my knowledge of design. I took the opportunity and visited various cities, museums, art galleries, and the Design Week. I met new friends, had new experiences and gained a more worldly perspective about things. The learning process was a challenging yet beautiful adventure, which gave me confidence in my next journey in life.
