Lightroom for Photographers

As a photographer, you’ve probably amassed an overwhelming collection of photos. With Adobe Lightroom, not only can you organize and easily find your favorite photographs, but you can also optimize your images with color correction, tonal adjustments, and other tools. Instructor Steven Kidd is an Adobe Certified Expert in Lightroom who will guide you through the setup of Lightroom, as well as using its many useful, timesaving features. ENRICHMENT Travel

Jon Noe J o n N o e has b e e n watching and studying film noir for over thirty years. He realized there was something dark, cynical and utterly fascinating about this style of filmmaking when he saw The Third Man at age 19. His goal is to highlight lesser known noir films that are in need of rediscovery. He produces and hosts The Juke Joint radio show on KSER 90.7 FM featuring 1940's and 50's rhythm and blues. You can also find him programming and hosting Film Noir Thursdays at The Historic Everett Theatre.

Schlock Cinema

Fall Quarter’s Schlock Cinema class is about loneliness in the monster community. In “Them,” we see classic scenes of hundreds of people discombobulatedly fleeing giant, angry antsónobody helping anyone else. “Mystery of the Wax Museum” features veteran horror star, Lionel Atwill, as a lonely museum curator who just wants to meet a nice girl, while in “Return of the Vampire,” Bela Lugosi plays a thinly disguised version of Dracula whose fearsome behavior can barely compare with the horror of the daily air raids over London during The Blitz.
