Breathing Deeply In the past the world was happy.

By Chace Benson As I stand here, breathing deeply.

There was no hole in the ozone layer.

I think how little time we have.

There were no pollutants, there were no cars.

The ozone layer has a hole.

Pitch together, help the earth.

The earth is taking its deadly toll.

Maybe we can fill that hole.

Buildings fall and mountains rumble.

As I stand here, breathing deeply. . .

As I stand here, breathing deeply. . .

Make the earth not hate us so.

In the future what will happen?

As I stand here, breathing deeply. . .

Will we lose our co2?

The world will burn, if we don’t change our ways.

Will the world flip inside out?

If we don’t. . .

As I stand here, breathing deeply. . .

As I stand here, not breathing at all.

Destroying Earth By: Daniel Lysack People destroy this land for the pleasure of themselves. Through pollution and through littering. Then cars came with their exhaust. You said you’d stop. Factories, paper mills, making to many houses. Trains, airplanes, taking ALL the natural resources. Space travel and more. You ignored your promise. Then lately you realized what had to be done. You redeemed yourselves. You went Green. Keep it that way ##

The Environment By: Connor Gutenberg

Our environment is getting destroyed every day of our lives So everyone should know not to litter and recycle Because in the blink of an eye The earth could be a huge landfill

I would imagine no one would want The earth to look like that So all you have to do is Reduce Reuse Recycle # #

!"# #

Our Environment Every little green thing helps the environment. If we don’t be green now, the Earth will be a garbage ball, but if we all be green now the Earth will be a better place to live on. Air is the thing that keeps us alive. We are making the air we breathe dirty. By killing trees we are really killing ourselves. If we stop making the air dirty and make it clean, we will make Earth a better place to live on. Recycling is a great thing to do. Terra-cycling is kind of like recycling but it’s recycling garbage into cool stuff. If we do all of this, the Earth will be a healthy and a green place to live on!

Be Green# Even though we’re going green it’s not going well We should always Reduce Reuse Recycle, Ride a bicycle but remember the green cycle, Reduce Reuse Recycle, Don’t waste your trash You can recycle in a flash. Even though were going green it’s not going well We should compost, Not waste paper and every time we chop down a tree Plant a new seed and make sure you remember the green cycle.

What Would Happen? By: Courtney Bryant

What would happen‌ If the birds stopped chirping, The bugs stopped buzzing, The flowers stopped blooming and, The trees stopped growing, If that was to all go away, Life would be less beautiful, How would we fell that we ruined the plant? What would make us smile on our worst days? That is what will soon happen to earth, If we do not respect and heal it, What would you do to stop it?

All of the animals like the beaver or bear will eventually run out of space in the forest. That is why the people of Earth should try to reforest, our land. Earth By: Jessi Coulter

Years go by, so do gases and fumes into the sky. Every time you use a car, the impact of Earths pollution goes more far. Flowers are dying, skies are thinning, why can’t it be like it was in the beginning? Big forests, clear blue skies, absolutely no worries one what animal species were about to die. We should be changing our ways, and letting the Earth heal, by using aluminum bottles and eating fewer meals. We should be working on finding a cure, like using EarthFriendly products and improving our conducts. I hope my few words of truth has lead you to believe that we were put on this Earth to Love and Succeed!

My View By: Jordan Kitt To live on Earth we need clean air, So all of us must do our share. To keep the smog from our sky, Or pollution will cause life to die. To drink our water we need it clean, Dumping toxins is incredibly obscene. Fish need unpoisoned water to survive, So let’s all try to keep them alive. We all produce garbage needing disposal, I want to present a thoughtful proposal. For some is recyclable and you can reuse, But some is quite harmful, so, please reduce!

The Towering Willow By: Selena Harrison The towering willow, proud and free, Stands so tall, blowing through the wind. Its branches so thick, so leafy with green, You’d think it’s almost invincible. As life goes by, it serves its purpose, A home, a provider, a tree. It homes animals and bugs alike, It gives us oxygen to breathe. As time goes by, it starts to wither, It’s bending, snapping, dying. Its branches so dry, so brittle, so heavy, The animals and bugs move away. The tree bends, breaks and dies, It’s leaving so much behind. Our oxygen, its life, its friends… But who is to blame for its demise?
