WHERE TIME MEETS SPACE OPENING JUNE 2024
In the heart of the village, keeping up with the times. The Lechwelten Convention Centre is located right here, in a powerful place between the river and the church. A modern building for meeting and communicating. A vibrant meeting place for conferences and presentations. For art and culture. For parties and celebrations. For people and markets. Here, there is more room for your ideas and visions. And more time to share them with the world.
“Lech was looking for a place that would entice everyone to communicate: locals and visitors, cultural and business people, poets and thinkers. The Lechwelten Convention Centre has made this vision reality.
The building’s architecture is as clear and transparent as its philosophy: flexible rooms for conferences, concerts and events of all kinds are found behind the glass and wood façade. The centrepiece is the multifunctional event hall for up to 650 visitors, which can be divided into up to three smaller halls if required. Equipped with the latest technology that ticks all the boxes.
Hall variant 1 “Plenum” for up to 650 visitors
Hall variant 2 “Ground floor and gallery” for up to 400 visitors
Hall variant 3 for up to 250 visitors
The Lechwelten Convention Centre will feature pioneering technology thanks to the installation of a 9.6 by 5 metre LED screen. From digital stage design to cinema screenings, the LED wall is extremely versatile. When not in use, it can be covered by a folding wall and is more or less “invisible.” At concerts the structure does not interfere with the acoustics.
The event hall in the Lechwelten Convention Centre meets the highest acoustic standards. It is capable of functioning just as effectively as a large hall as it is when divided into two or three smaller halls. This standard is unique in Europe. For optimal soundproofing, the inner lining of the walls is slightly inclined, as are the windows. For people with hearing impairments, there will also be an inductive-loop hearing system.
