Themed Hikes T U E S DAYS : T H E H E R B S E XC U R S I O N The certified herbs teacher and hiking guide Veronika Walch introduces you to the exciting world of Lecher mountain herbs. With her by your side, you‘ll experience nature with all your senses, wander across meadows and learn about herbs and plants with healing power. Many herbs that conceal genuine secrets grow in the wonderful setting of the Lech mountains. During the herb hike, Veronika Walch tells stories about and talks about customs surrounding the herbs, about the effect of herbs and how to use them. THURSDAYS: THE GEOPATH EXCURSION Today‘s alpine landscape was once the home of mussels and primitive squid-like creatures. What once rested under deep blue water rose up onto the imposing peak that towered over a massive sheet of ice. So the Geological Circuit invites you on a fantastic journey – as you pass „stonelike witnesses“ on the way through the millenia. Discover the secrets of a world that gives us a peek into different dimensions of time together with geologist Georg Schnell. Walk through a grandiose alpine „stone garden“ in which magnificent flowers and herbs create fascinating contrasts to the rock and in which the Monzabon Lake is embedded like a sparkling diamond. i Meeting point: 9:45 am at Rüfikopf cable car valley station Duration: about 3 hours, June 28th – September 14th 2017 Registration: The day before until 4:00 pm at adventure@lech-zuers.at, at mylechcard.com or by telephone +43 (5583) 2161-0

General terms and conditions 1. General 1.1 The following General Terms and Conditions of Business (hereinafter referred to as T&Cs) are expressly agreed for the display and use of the mobility card and the Lech Card (hereinafter referred to together as the card) between the card holder (hereinafter referred to as the guest) and Lech Zürs Tourismus GmbH (hereinafter referred to as LZTG). The card is exclusively issued with these T&Cs, and the latter are taken to be accepted upon first use of the card. Please carefully read through these provisions before using the card. 1.2 Each landlord providing accommodation in the Lech Zürs am Arlberg region (hereinafter referred to as the landlord) is obliged, with respect to LZTG, to draw the attention of any guest registered in accordance with the 1991 Registration Act – regardless of the length of stay – to the card and display it. Only one card may be issued per guest and stay. The only exceptions are those indicated under 6.2 and 6.3 (copies due to damage or loss). The LZTG is to be contacted in cases of doubt. The mobility card is free of charge for the guest, while a fee must be paid for the Lech card. 2. Validity 2.1 The card is only valid if it has been completely filled out and successfully registered in accordance with the 1991 Registration Act and is accompanied by photo identification. The card is not transferable and may only be used by the person to whom the card is issued. 2.2 Valid cards can be used from 23.06.17 to 08.10.17 (hereinafter referred to as the promotion period). The mobility card is available from the day of arrival to the day of departure (hereinafter referred to as the period of stay). Depending on the period of validity selected, the Lech Card, which must be paid for, is valid for 3, 7 or 14 days. Season cards are valid for the entire promotion period. After departure, the cards automatically cease to be valid and do not have to be cancelled by the guest. 3. Provisions for the Lech Card 3.1 The Lech card must be paid for and provides additional entitlements in addition to those of the mobility card. It can only be purchased when the guest stays for at least 2 nights in Lech Zürs. The Lech card can be purchased for 3, 7 or 14 days. Season cards can also be purchased. The Lech card can be purchased during the period of stay and also several times in succession. After the expiry of the Lech card, the entitlements of the mobility card continue to apply until the guest‘s day of departure. 3.2 In the event of premature departure due to a serious illness or accident, the costs of the Lech card will be refunded pro rata by LZTG. The amount of reimbursement is based on the number of full Lech card days not used due to the early departure. A requirement for the reimbursement is the submission of confirmation by the landlord of early departure and a

24

certificate from a doctor or hospital in the region. In justified cases, the LZTG also accepts certificates from doctors and hospitals outside the region. 3.3 In addition, the same conditions that apply to the mobility card also apply to the Lech card. 4. Scope of the card services 4.1 Each guest is entitled to claim the services intended for the respective form of card (mobility card or Lech card) (hereinafter referred to as card services) from the companies (hereinafter referred to as service partners) listed in the information documents (card folder, homepage mylechcard.com). The card services included for the service partners and further information on the card can be found in the card folder and on the homepage mylechcard.com. 4.2 The LZTG is entitled to terminate agreements with service partners if there are important reasons to do so, including during the card‘s period of validity. These service partners are then no longer obliged to recognise the cards or provide the card services. As a result, nor can the guest, subject to point 7.2, make any claims against the LZTG or the service partners. 4.3 The prices indicated by the service partners in the card folder and on the homepage www.mylechcard.at are guide prices. They include all taxes, duties and surcharges. Should the service partner amend the prices, the guest has no entitlement to pay the price actually shown. 4.4 Card services for the Lech Card cannot be combined with other promotions and benefits. However, the guest is free to make use of a promotion that is more beneficial to him. The offers with our service partners are valid only for as long as places are available. Only limited places are available for the trekking programme and the children‘s adventure week. 4.5 Children up to 14 years old receive the Lech card free of charge. The children‘s adventure programme can only be used if a parent holds a valid Lech card. Children are individuals born in the year 2003 (01.01.2003) and later, adults are individuals born in year 2002 (31.12.2002) and before.

25

5. Claiming card services 5.1 The guest is aware that, depending on the season, the operating and opening hours of certain service partners may not cover the entire promotion period and for this reason it may not be possible to take advantage of all the services. 5.2 When claiming a card service, the guest is obliged to present the card to the service partner without being specifically requested to do so. At the request of the service partner, the guest must also present valid photo identification. If the guest cannot or will not do this, the service may be refused by the service partner. 5.3 Service partners may refuse card services if there are justified reasons to do so. These reasons are in particular: acts of God and other cases of force majeure, maintenance work, repairs, risk to own safety, risk to third parties, overcrowding of the facility, a guest being in poor health, inadequate equipment on the part of the guest, unsuitable clothing worn by the guest, infringement of the regulations of the service partner, refusal to provide photo identification or similar reasons. In these cases, the guest has no claim to fulfilment or compensation from the service partner. 5.4 In the event of a card service being used, an agreement (hereinafter referred to as the service agreement) comes into effect exclusively between the guest and the respective service partner. Any T&Cs of the service partner may also apply in this case. 5.5 The LZTG is not a contractual party for service agreements. Neither the landlords nor the service partners are agents of the LZTG. As a result, the guest has no claims against the LZTG, in particular no claims to fulfilment, warranty and compensation, resulting from the service agreements, in particular from the non-fulfilment or fulfilment of card services by the service partners. 5.6 The cards contain no insurance services. 6. Transfer, loss of and damage to the card 6.1 Transfer of the card is not permitted. In the event of the transfer of the card, the guest is also liable for misuse of the card by third parties. 6.2 In the event of misuse or suspicion of misuse, service partners are entitled and obliged to take back the card without replacing it and to block it if necessary. A report shall be made to the authorities if misuse can be proven or there is justified suspicion of misuse. 6.3 Theft or loss of the card must be reported to the landlord or LZTG immediately. The landlord or LZTG can then issue a new card. In the event of a new card being issued, the card that has been lost will be blocked and in doing so will cease to be valid.

26

6.4 Damaged cards shall be replaced by the landlord or LZTG. 6.5 In the event of early departure, the card will be blocked for the remainder of the period of validity. 7. Warranty and liability 7.1 LZTG warrants that the card services for the Lech card can be taken advantage of under the conditions laid down in these T&Cs during appropriate hours of operation. In case card services for the Lech card cannot be claimed for reasons for which the guest is not responsible and which could not have been foreseen by the guest, no reimbursement of costs is possible and the services for the Lech card expire. 7.3 LZTG is only liable to the guest in cases of wilful intent and gross negligence. This restriction does not apply to personal injury. If in individual cases a more far-reaching exclusion of liability is legally possible, this is hereby regarded as agreed. 8. Data processing The card holder agrees that LZTG can store the data indicated and recorded by the latter and may use and process it for marketing purposes and market analysis. 9. Miscellaneous 8.1 There are no oral ancillary agreements in addition to these T&Cs. Ancillary agreements of whatever nature and any amendments and additions must be in writing to be valid. This also applies to any waiver of this written form requirement. 8.2 For all disputes arising from the use and issuance of the card, it is agreed that Austrian law shall apply exclusively, to the exclusion of the United Nations Convention for the International Sale of Goods and Austrian reference provisions. 8.3 Without prejudice to compulsory statutory provisions, the court of jurisdiction for all legal disputes between LZTG and the guest is exclusively agreed as the responsible court for 6700 Bludenz. 8.4 Should one or more of the provisions of these T&Cs be invalid, exclusively those legal provisions between LZTG and the guest are agreed that come as close as possible to the commercial purpose of the invalid provision(s). The validity of the other provisions is not affected by an invalid provision.
