“Verso Sud” is a self-portrait of the artist as a mobile being. By turns voice asserts itself, voice is transformed, voice resists, it becomes an almost hypnotic rhythmic gesture handling pendants, goldfish searched for out of water, bodies mock their own definitions. In this game in the making, nothing is stable. Everything is fluid like water. Like so, Anna Raimondo offers at once her vision of the south, a slow arrhythmia, a hypnotic and vocal universe.
