segments of users but since there already is an extensive range of fluorescent tube users who want to exploit their existing ballasts before moving on to this one. Though these are a low-maintenance, low running-cost products. What You Need To Do? Known as direct-wire or ballast bypass tubes, these tubes get you rid of complex circuitry inside. Universal LED Tubes These are the most expensive and the latest-in-kind. Easy to install tubes as they are, they can work with both magnetic and electronic ballasts. What You Need To Do? Plug and play -- Just take out the existing tube and install the LED tubes. The ballast will stay in its place. The Major Downside To These Tubes Ballast might consume a lot of energy and so maintenance is needed. Difficult to find new ballast of the same kind in the market and expensive as well.
