Initial Concept : “Computer generated futuristic flower image. “ Flower is one of the most loved objects in the art world. There are so many kinds of flowers on earth that it is difficult to count them all, and they have various colors and shapes. In addition, it has a lot of symmetrical structures so that we feel the wonder of nature. I believe that flower can be an object that can be created infinitely in the digital art world as well. For that reason, in this class, I like to create futuristic flower images using digital technology

Kaleidosope meets pop culture Gogildong, sub character of popular cartoon called ‘ Dooly the Little Di-
nosaur(1987-1988)’, with op art expressed eyes in kaleidoscope background. Kaleidoscope background reflects the fantasy world(utopia), and op art in black and white reflects the reality(maybe ‘dystopia’).

‘Parasite‘ (2019). Movie deploys dystopian tragedy, centered with family living in poor urban nabourhood and rich family living in prestigious mansion. Kaleidoscope and his black and white portrait can represent realistic gloomy figure in fantasy world.

Iconic Character in meme “Jongno Star” is meme video spreaded around in Korean in 2020, it
stars “Go Gil-dong”, a character from one of Korea’s oldest and most beloved animation series, , “Baby Dinosaur Dooly, singing Korean old song. Video received a great response and caused people to create many similar videos.

Historical Figure in meme Sin saimdang (1504 – 1551) was a Korean artist, writer, calligraphist,
and poet. She appeared on 50,000 Korean won note since 2009. She’s also famous for mother of famous confucian sholar, Yi, who appears on 1000 Korean won note.
