MADELINE: CHILDREN’S WEAR
Two piece childrens wear garment inspired by Madeline. The navy and yellow color scheme is incorporated in both the cape and a-line dress. Daisy button closures can be seen on the cape and closing the back keyhole of the dress.
1950’s INSPIRED TAILORED COAT + COCKTAIL DRESS Lavender tailored coat inspired by the 1950’s and Jackie O. Princess style lines, buttonholes places within the center front seam and an enlarged yoke are just some of the details within the garment. Two inch pleats line the back of the coat while the inside is fully lined in silk. The dress is a cottonspandex blend with a razorback neckline.
CONSTRUCTION WORK Metal and leather construction.
CONSTRUCTION WORK Cage and boning construction.
GRAPHIC EXPLORATION
This digital work required extensive knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. These projects worked with shapes, digital creation and construction/deconstruction.
BRIDAL ADVERTISEMENT
Creation of bridal email advertisements with functioning links. This project utilized both the InDesign program and Photoshop as well as personal styling experience. Advertisements were used at previous Precious Formals internship.
MARKETING & REBRANDING
Students were required to create a marketing and rebranding strategy. After choosing a current brand and target consumer, we were to rebrand with a strategy complete with credibility, equity, assets, advertising, and marketing in mind.
TREND FORECASTING
Students were required to research past trends on runway and then forecast three future trends. Each trend was depicted through pictures, description, and color palette.
