SETUP GUIDE 1. Lay out the ground sheet on the floor where you wish to erect your Tactical Bivvy. The yellow elasticated loops attached to the ground sheet should be on the underside. Please note, one of the longer sides will have more elasticated loops – this is the back of the shelter. 2. Place the Tactical Bivvy in the centre of the ground sheet. kneel down and open out the poles, plugging together the elasticated frame sections as you go, taking care not to force the joints and damaging the spigots. Also ensure no material is trapped or pinched between the connection points. 3. The assembled frame will be wider than the groundsheet.

4. Using the tension strap attached to the bottom of the frame poles, please pull together and connect using the very first loop. This is the correct tension for use with the groundsheet. 5. Peg out the back of the Bivvy first, using the groundsheet as guidance for the shape – the back corners should be pegged out in a straight line.

SETUP GUIDE 6. Locate the pointed tension bar and thread through the material guide at the back of the bivvy. Insert the pointed end into the metal loop and connect the other end using the plastic clip. Ensure this is fully tensioned.

7. Repeat step 6, using the remaining tension bars. The longest one should be located using the material guide, at the top of the Bivvy. The remaining 3 tension bars should be used to tension the peak. 8. Once the tension bars are positioned, continue to peg the Bivvy out.. Starting with the frame poles, pull them forward from the back two corners and peg down at the widest tension strap setting. It is important that these poles are spread as wide as they can go. 9. With the door fully zipped up, pull the shelter towards the ground and insert two pegs through the rings either side of the front door.

SETUP GUIDE 10. Now, using the two front corners points, peg the front of the shelter out in a straight line, using the door and groundsheet shape as guidance.

11. Continue to place pegs in the remaining points to ensure required tension. The draft skirt can now be tucked under the groundsheet.

12. Please note, the groundsheet is only a rough guide and adjustments may need to be made in any direction at the end of the process. 13. Lastly, attach the groundsheet, using the yellow elasticated loops and toggles from the inside.
