Introducing to Welding Award Level 1

Develop a passion for welding with this hands-on course. You will study in an industry-standard workshop and gain a range of essential skills including knowledge of equipment, MIG welding, techniques and procedures, and health and safety regulations.

Domestic Energy Assessor C&G Level 3 Certificate

Price: £995 Start date: January 2024 Duration: 1 year Location: Harrogate College Study: Part-time

If you have an interest in buildings and construction, a drive to improve energy efficiency for consumers and want to reduce carbon footprints, then this course could be for you. This City & Guilds Level 3 qualification covers how to assess building structure, discriminate between low and high energy lighting, introduce you to renewable technologies and their impact, and so much more.

Entry requirements

Although no previous experience or specific qualifications are required to undertake this course, an understanding of building and construction, maths skills, logical thinking, attention to detail and excellent communication skills are all desirable.

Progression

There is high demand for assessors and this qualification will set you up for further study or employment in this rapidly growing industry. A qualified Domestic Energy Assessor can progress to further study to qualify as a Retrofit Coordinator – who can deliver all elements of PAS 2035 (Retrofitting dwellings for improved energy efficiency).
