Research
- The world's largest provider of rapid prototyping solutions for manufacturers - provides students aged 8 to 12 with STEM-based enrichment - The package also includes a Global Inventors in Training after-school class for eight students
FDM Technology an "additive" principle by laying down material in layers; a plastic filament or metal wire is unwound from a coil and supplies material to produce a part.
Stereolithography
Zcorp Technology
works by focusing an ultraviolet (UV) laser on to a vat of photopolymer resin. he UV laser is used to draw a pre-programmed design or shape on to the surface of the photopolymer vat.
Z Corp. 3D printers use standard inkjet printing technology to create parts layer-by-layer by depositing a liquid binder onto thin layers of powder.
PolyJet Technology similar to inkjet printing, but instead of jetting drops of ink onto paper, PolyJet 3D Printers jet layers of curable liquid photopolymer onto a build tray. The 3D printer jets and instantly UV-cures tiny droplets of liquid photopolymer. Fine layers accumulate on the build tray to create a precise 3D model or part
3D PRINT MATERIALS
PLA
- made from organic material - Easier and safer to use - Low melting point --> Not good for mechanical operations
ABS
- an oil-based plastic - Strong & Sturdy material - Businesses widely use for constructing things - high melting point
Powder
- an oil-based plastic - Strong & Sturdy material - Businesses widely use for constructing things - high melting point
SLA Resins
- Liquid UV-curable photopolymers - Used in produce high strength, high temperature, water-proof needed objects - High resolution surface finishing
THE MAKERLAB CLUB - Advance 3D digital literacy - Bringing 3D printers, 3D printing programs, workshops and access to students, adults, educators, schools and non-profits - run programming and workshops within their communities - Participation in communities of practice and access to best practices
Support Children to achieve dreams - MAX'IS Creations, Inc - Max Ash, the young Founder and Chief Creator - 3D Systems' technology helps to transform a school art project into a bestselling line of sports-themed mugs

Brain-storming
We Spent time on design a Business Model Which can Fulfill the criterias below: 1. Application of 3D print technology 2. Satisfy the needs of children in Hong Kong and Poor Region 3. Feasibility
IDEA of POINT 2 POINT ・3D print supplier
・International children's charity
POOR AREA
URBAN ・Schools which join the project
・Kiosk Design
・ Providing one Month Programme to the Rural Area Student
・ Secondary schools which join the project
Platform
WE ARE HERE!!
MAIN PURPOSE
Our Project can to provide a platform for cultural exchange of children in Hong Kong and Poor Areas like Cambodia. To achieve it, 3D technology can help to give a higher realistic and memorable experience to children. At the same time, The team can introduce a set of 3D technolories (3D Scanning, Drawing and Printing) to student. It is because 3D technology is the future trend.

Connection With World Resources Education Technology
How to achieve the project? They has the network which can help to run the programme in different countries
International children's charity
We mainly focus on design a mobile workshop and a 3D Kiosk
Hardware Design
Software Design Our team designs a 4 week programme for students in both regions. Also, we design a game for students to exchange their views.
3D technology company They can provided the needed technology supports in This project. Also, they can donate some 3D tech. devices like scanners and printers .

PLAN
Sustainable Approach - “Children - Oriented community development - 5 main Categories i. Education ii. Health iii. Living environment iv. sustainable Liverihods. v. building relationships
Education Work to promote free, equal access to quality eduction for all chidren 4 priorities in Education
INSTITUTIONS, POLICY AND LAW EQUAL ACCESS
QUALITY EDUCATION ACCOUNTABILITY AND PARTICIPATION
Building Relationships
Work to promote understanding between cultures and communionin different ountries Works for the Purpose - Facilitating personal relationships via written communication among sponsors, sponsored children, their families and Plan - Issuing regular reports for sponsors and other donors
Current Projects of Plan
Providing a good start to education for pre-school children in Vietnam Providing a quality learning environment for the ethnic minority children in China
Fulfil the dreams of education for the girls in Changrai, Northern Thailand
We found our project is sharing same two purposes (education and building relationships) with PLAN. So it is good for us to choose PLAN as a cooperated parter for running this project.

Our team plans to arrage a 4 weeks programmes to both sides students.
Week 1
Know the other side of Earth
Week 2
Fun in 3D technology
Week 3
Make a new friend far away
Week 4
Souvenir Making Day
Week 1 Week 2 Week 3 Week 4
- A introduction of the place where will go to do exchange - In Hong Kong, The Content is Prepared by the LS teacher in the school. - The Content is including video and picture taken by the team member in the other side (HongKong / Poor Area ). - There is a assignment for student: After they know the target place, bring a object that they want to share to students in target place in week 2 lesson.
Know the other side of Earth
Week 1 Week 2 Week 3 Week 4
- Introducing the 3D technologies to student (3D scanning, 3D Drawing, 3D Printing) - Provide opportunity of application of these technologies. - Provide interesting objects for students to scan. - Scan the objects students asked to bring in week 1 and 3D print some of them.
Fun in 3D technology
The 3D Drawing app we used called Cubify Draw.
We choose Cubify for 3D printing. It is easy for operation, and contain some interactive functions.
Week 1 Week 2 Week 3 Week 4
- There is a interactive game for studnets know the views of students in the other side. - sharing Values, knowledges, feels. - Pair up students in both sides. - Very easy to operate.
Make a new friend far away
Week 1 Week 2 Week 3 Week 4 - Students use different materials to build a gift for their paied frined. - 3D Scan the gift they built - Print them out in The other side.
