Special Thank You
Ms. Smith would like to thank everyone who worked behind the scenes to bring this show to life, especially Brayden Huber and Kaine Clark. You see, as audience members you only see what happens in front of the curtain, but it’s what lies behind that is a whole new world. The sides of the stage are filled with over fifty students between cast and crew running in and out with silent feet trying to avoid tripping over the large set pieces, prop tables, and lighting equipment. There are crew standing by to help actors with costumes, makeup, and hair changes. All going in and out of doors that have to be silently shut, all of which are lit up just enough to barely see. You see, being part of a production is not an easy thing. However, the life lessons that come from this experience are unlike any other. The life skills, the bonds, and memories made last a lifetime.

He is an active member of the National Honor Society, International Thespian Society, Spanish Honor Society, Spanish Club, and the LEAD Legacy Communications team. Her favorite part of being a director is building relationships with students. Her favorite memory with the cast happened this year when the actors and stage managers thought they were coming to a regular rehearsal and she “cast-knapped” them by putting them on teams and taking them on a great adventure. From a scavenger hunt to laser tag to dinner, they had a blast and made memories that made their bond even stronger. She is especially fond of Clue because of so many new faces being leads! She is looking forward to seeing these students shine and says working with this particular group has been one of the most fun experiences to date.
