SPECIAL THANKS Ms. Smith would like to thank the Tech theatre students for their countless hours of cardboard cutting. She is especially grateful to Jared Nguyen, Brayden Huber and Grady Huber for building our entire set under the leadership of Senior, JD Keck. His job description says Stage Manager, but really, he is a miracle worker. She wishes everyone could witness even for five minutes what these young men have been doing over the course of four months. You see, as audience members you only see what happens in front of the curtain, but it’s what lies behind that is a whole new world. The sides of the stage are filled with over fifty students between cast and crew running in and out with silent feet trying to avoid tripping over the large set pieces, prop tables and lighting equipment. There are crew standing by to help actors with costume, makeup and hair changes. All going in and out of doors, that have to be silently shut. All of which are lit up just enough to barely see. You see, being part of a production is not an easy thing. In fact, it’s one of the most mentally daunting tasks one can do. However, the life lessons that come from this experience are unlike any other. If every parent could see the transformation that happens with their child when they are part of an experience like this, there would be a waitlist to audition for every production. The life skills, the bonds and memories made last a lifetime.

CAST BIOS JESSE TUCK - WILL MIDA Will is a Senior and he has been attending LCA for fifteen years since Pre-K. His previous theatrical roles include the Troll in Little Women, Lucas Beineke in The Addams Family, and Bert in Mary Poppins. Will is absolutely thrilled for his last musical experience with this cast and crew. Outside of the production, Will is a member of NHS, President of the International Thespian Society, Chair of the Spiritual Formation Team, member of the LCA Worship Team, and an intern for KLIFE. When he has some spare time, Will loves to sing, worship, watch movies, and spend as much time as possible with his friends and family. He could not be more thankful for the role of Jesse in Tuck Everlasting and cannot wait for everyone to see this show that so many have worked tirelessly on. With that being said, Will would like to thank Ms. Smith, Mrs. Keyes, the cast and crew, and the numerous individuals who have made the greatest impact on him during his time in the theatrical world. The past 3 years have been an absolute dream for Will and he would not change a single moment! MAE TUCK - ELLA WALKER Ella is a senior and has been attending LCA for 3 years. She has been involved in theater since 6th grade and has participated in shows such as Our Town, Pride and Prejudice, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Ella also participated in the TAPPS One-Act Play competition with The Blue and the Gray, and Look Me in the Eye, where she received the Honorable Mention and All Star Cast award. Outside of theater, Ella is a member of ITS and NHS and serves with her local church. After high school, Ella plans on studying communications and theater in college. She enjoys spending time with her friends and her internship with Ms. Smith. Ella is so excited to perform in her first and last musical with her closest friends and is thankful to Ms. Smith and Mrs. Keyes for making it all possible! She is also so thankful to her mom and dad for being supportive and helpful throughout this process. MILES TUCK - ERIC ERICSON Eric is a senior who has been attending LCA for 13 years. Up until December 2022, Eric led a quiet life, barely paying the bills with the slim profits from his tropical-fish-breeding business, and hardly devoting his efforts to the theater. In fact to the onlooker, it may seem as though Eric had no past experience in the theatrical arts. However, Eric has been secretly refining his artistic skills for years. He was cast as the main (and only) character in a one-scene academic production of Marc Antony’s speech in Julius Caesar for his freshman English class. Since junior high, he has been leading vocal performances in the shower. He even knows several chords on his father’s acoustic guitar, and he is fluent in didgeridoo. So last December, it’s safe to say that Nathan McBroom was justified when he begged Eric to put his unparalleled talents to use by auditioning for the annual musical. Since then, Eric has had a ton of fun preparing to play Miles Tuck, and he’s excited to put on a show tonight! He hopes that the popularity he gains from this role will propel him into stardom and bring in the big money (although he will continue to grow his humble fish business).
ANGUS TUCK - NATHAN BURT Nathan is a junior and this is twelfth year at LCA. He has been involved in theater since middle school, and this is his second two-act high school show. His last roles were Park Keeper and John Northbrook in LCA’s production of Mary Poppins. He is super pumped to be a part of this year’s musical! At school, he is involved in NHS, ITS, the LEAD Legacy Communications team, and plays lead guitar in the worship band. Outside of school, he enjoys playing guitar and singing with his friends in his indie rock band Book Club (insta: bookclub.band). He is also an intern in the Christian youth ministry KLIFE. Like his character, Nathan loves the outdoors and all types of fishing, especially fly fishing in northern New Mexico. He would like to thank Ms. Smith, Mrs. Keyes, and the awesome cast of Tuck Everlasting for putting in so much hard work to make this a sick show! WINNIE FOSTER - WHITNEY SONJU Whitney is a senior, and has attended LCA since 7th grade. She is absolutely thrilled to be playing the role of Winnie Foster, as it has been a dream role of hers!! Whitney is an active member of National Honor Society, Secretary for the International Thespian Society, and a member of Principal Advisory Council. This will be Whitney’s 8th production with LCA, and her 11th overall (would be her 13th, but Covid…) In her free time (that she wishes she had), Whitney is probably running, singing, reading, socializing, all while wishing she was hiking! Whitney would like to thank Ms. Smith for being her mentor the past 6 years, Mrs. Keyes for her musical talent and willingness to work with all skill levels, the cast for their hard work, enthusiasm, and camaraderie, the crew for spending many evenings in the shop building everything, and YOU, for coming to see the show! Soli Deo Gloria! BETSY FOSTER - CORTLYN PLUNK Cortlyn is a senior and has been attending Legacy for eight years. Her previous roles include: Gryphon from Alice in Wonderland (rest in pieces), CanCan Dancer from The Addams Family, Miss Andrews from the latest production of Mary Poppins and Kimya from The One Act Disaster. She also has worked lighting and makeup for the TAPPS One-Act Play, The Blue and The Grey, in which she was awarded the All-Star Crew Award. She is the Publicity Chair at Legacy’s International Thespian Society and a member of the National Honors Society. She is excited to play Betsy Foster in Tuck Everlasting as a last production as she performs with her closest friends. She is planning on studying in Illustration for Visual Development at Savannah College of Art and Design as she pursues higher education. She would like to thank Ms. Smith and Mrs. Keyes for believing in this art kid who had never acted before high school; she will be eternally grateful for allowing this opportunity over the past four years as it has changed her life for the better. NANA FOSTER - ANA RODMAN Ana is a senior and has been attending Legacy for 15 years. This is her first musical production ever and she is so excited to be a part of the cast! At school, she is involved in NHS, Varsity Volleyball, and Varsity Track. She has been awarded the Offensive Player of the Year, Honorable Mention, 2nd Team All-District, and Academic All-State Award in her high school volleyball career. Ana Interns with Driven Healthcare Concierge Care Center and plans on studying Pre-Med or Biology in college. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her dog Cleo, working out, shopping, and hanging out with friends. She would like to shout out Ella Walker for convincing her to try out for the musical and would like to thank her fellow cast/crew members for making this experience so fun and memorable. She would also like to thank Ms. Smith and Mrs. Keyes for giving her the opportunity to be the role of Nana and for putting all of this together!! She is so excited to be a grandma on stage. She is also thankful to her mom and dad for supporting her and encouraging her through this process!
MAN IN THE YELLOW SUIT - NATHAN MCBROOM Nathan, a senior, has been at Legacy for nine not-so-entirely consecutive years. This is his twelfth theatre production and first production to act alongside both of his siblings. When not attempting to filch the secret to life eternal and singing about his clothes, Nathan is normally buried (figuratively!) in a book. He also has a whale of a time assembling modular plastic bricks (LEGO…), working out, or on a thrift shopping world tour. Nathan also has enjoyed studying world cultures and traveling the world with his family; his greatest lesson was learning the value of a single conversation. He thanks his castmates and supremely talented directors. Thanks for coming and please do not feed the fish! HUGO - TRUMAN HICKS Truman is a senior and has been attending Legacy since freshman year. This is his first musical production, but he hopes to put on a show that defies his inexperience. Truman’s hobbies consist of… nothing. To be clear, he has many hobbies, but they’re anything BUT consistent! Over the course of his life, he has dabbled in obsessions (disguised as pastimes) ranging from record collecting to psychopharmacology, but his most persistent obsession is the universe and how it works. As a result, he plans to study Astrophysics in college, at least until he changes his mind. For now, though, he’s assuming the role of a bona fide thespian, and hopes to prove it with his excited involvement in this production. He thanks everyone involved in the musical for giving him a sense of community, welcomeness, and guidance he hasn’t experienced anything like before. Truman would also like to thank you, the reader, for being a patron of the arts! Enjoy the show! CONSTABLE JOE - IAN MCBROOM Ian is a sophomore, and this is his second year at LCA. Aside from a handful of small productions in elementary school, he started doing theatre last year and has now been a part of Mary Poppins and The Blue and the Grey. Outside school, he is somewhat inconsistent in his pastimes but has always enjoyed reading and working out. He would like to thank both Ms. Smith and Mrs. Keyes for correcting his many mistakes, and the amazing cast and crew that has worked so hard to make this happen. Enjoy the show!
THOMAS - JOSHUA STONE Joshua is a first grader and has been attending Legacy since Pre-K 3. He loves playing basketball, hanging out with his dog Lucy, playing Pokemon, and reading. He has also recently taken up Irish dancing! He is so excited to be a part of this production. He says this part is perfect for him because he’s a lot like Olaf…he likes warm hugs!
AUDRIE ROSTANT - DANCE CAPTAIN Audrie is a Junior and has been attending Legacy since sixth grade. This is her first Legacy production and she is so thankful to be the Dance Captain and a part of the Ensemble. She has been doing theater since elementary school and has loved it ever since. Audrie has been dancing for twelve years, competing for ten years, and has been in The Frisco Ballet for the past three years. Outside of school, she enjoys dancing 24/7, singing, hanging out with her friends, and working at Nothing Bundt Cakes. She is so thankful to her parents, God, Ms. Smith, Mrs. Keyes, and Victoria Lee for giving her the opportunity to be in this show! She would also like to thank her fellow cast and crew members for making this process so fun and something she will never forget. ENSEMBLE MEMBER - HANNAH ABBINK Hannah is a senior at Legacy Christian Academy where she has attended for 13 years. While at LCA, Hannah has been on the varsity swim team and competed in two state swimming championships, placing ninth overall in a personal event. She is also a member of National Honor Society, LEAD Legacy Spiritual Formation team and Honor Council. In addition, Hannah is the current Treasurer of the International Thespian Society. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her friends and family. Hannah was cast as the Cheshire Cat in Legacy’s Alice and Wonderland, but she was unable to perform it due to Covid. She was also the Ballerina Ancestor in The Addams Family and Katie Nanna in Mary Poppins. She is so excited to be in her final production at Legacy in the ensemble in one of her favorite shows! Hannah would like to thank Ms. Smith for putting so much work into the show and not giving up on the cast, Mrs. Keyes for being extremely patient and a solid rock admist the storms of confusion, and, last but not least, the cast and crew for all their support and memories. Lastly, Hannah wants to thank and dedicate this show to all the wonderful people who have graduated in the past two years, for pouring into her and making every moment on and off the stage the best memories of high school.
