Born in Columbia, Missouri, most of Kimberly’s childhood was in Montgomery, Alabama. Her early experiences instilled in her a strong sense of community and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.

Kimberly’s academic journey took her to George Corley Wallace State Community College Selma, where she laid the foundation for her higher education pursuits. In 2021, she proudly graduated from Alabama State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, setting the stage for her entrepreneurial endeavors. Undeterred in her pursuit of knowledge, she achieved a Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communication from the University of West Alabama in 2023.

Kimberly’s entrepreneurial spirit shines through in her dynamic career. While residing in Miami, Florida, she embarked on an exciting journey as the co-executive producer of her sister Ashley C. Thomas’s dramedy film, “Do It for Grandma.” As an author, Kimberly has penned three insightful books that serve as key roadmaps to success in higher education, offering guidance not only to young adults but also to parents navigating the complex educational landscape.
