Tickets: $50 SMWS Members: $35 RUM CLUB FLOR DE CAÑA MASTERCLASS THURSDAY, JANUARY 16TH 7-9PM An evening exploring the entire range of rum offered by the globally acclaimed Flor de Caña distillery from Nicaragua. The tasting will cover all of Flor de Caña’s gold medal winning expressions, from their strikingly inimitable 4 year to their exquisite and robust 25 year expression. Hosted by Flor de Caña’s ambassador to Western Canada, Chris Mosey, we will discuss the unique heritage of Flor de Caña and what makes this celebrated and decorated range of rum so special. AD RATTRAY INDEPENDENT BOTTLER MASTERCLASS TUESDAY, JANUARY 21ST 7-9PM Dating back to 1868, AD Rattray was an original fixture in the Glasgow whisky blending community. Fast forward to 2019 and the range of Single Malts from this family-owned company has expanded far beyond these humble beginnings. Thomas Boyd, Global Controller for AD Rattray will lead guests through the Casks of Scotland range, including the first of the new Limited-Edition bottlings for 2020. Tickets: $25 RARE DRAMS WHISKY CLUB MASTERCLASS THURSDAY, JANUARY 23RD 7-9PM Laing & Co. recently won Spirits Bottler of the Year at the Spirits Business Awards. They were selected for this award as recognition for their ground-breaking product innovations, “as natural as it gets” philosophy, distinctive and eye-catching packaging, and the wide variety of Scotch Whisky products we offer. Tickets: $35 PEAT ‘N MEAT WITH BOWMORE THURSDAY, JANUARY 30TH 7-9PM Bowmore is Islay’s oldest distillery and home to the world’s oldest whisky maturation warehouse, the No. I Vaults. It’s in this legendary warehouse that Bowmore whisky has been meticulously matured by our master distillers for nearly 240 years. Join us as James Neil, Beam Suntory’s World Whisky Ambassador, guides guests through a Masterclass tasting of Bowmore’s Core Range Single Malt Islay Scotch Whiskies and one limited edition. CELLAR EVENTS THE DALMORE SEMINAR TUESDAY, JANUARY 21ST 5-6PM Guests will be guided through The Dalmore Principal Collection, including King Alexander III and The Dalmore 25 year old. This collection perfectly showcases Master Distiller, Richard Paterson’s skills and expertise in cask curation. Each expression presents a different nuance of the definitive house style. The tasting will include food pairings and a branded gift. Guests will also learn about The Dalmore’s Constellation Collection including the unique 1981, 1989 and 1990 Expressions. Tickets: $25
