The work you are about to see is influenced and inspired by my passions and interests. I feel my style best respresents who I am as a creator. Creator? I say that because I am not limited to just art and design. What once were just mere hobbies of mine are now matured brought to a new level of work. This is my labor of love.

Logos and Branding
Logo & Branding Project 150 is a southern Nevada non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless youth to stay in school and graduate. I wanted to create something bright and uplifting to match the work Project 150 is doing to change the future for students with great potential.

While recreating their logo, I also worked on a new online prescence to match with the new tone I wanted to bring forth for Project 150.

The name usagi is the Japanese word for rabbit. In Asian folklore, it is said that a rabbit lives on the moon and it produces a elixir of immortality. What that elixir actually is? I’ll leave that up to you. Here, I wanted to convey a clean and modern approach to a sake label in a complete different way in which most sake brands are showcased. I like the look of a solid dark color against a crisp white surface; it brings about a nice contrast.

Record Label
My inspiration behind this logo was the different colors that shine through a glass prism when the light hits it. Music is made up of so many different sounds, elements, and harmonies. I wanted this record label to be able to show it can produce all genres of music and not just a few or only a singularity.

Art & Illustration
I love to create work from things that I love and take great interest in. This illustration is a character from a very popular video game, Overwatch. D.Va is a talented, sassy, and fun loving individual and I feel those who play as her often show a little of her in themselves once getting to know them. I myself often play as D.Va and wanted show my adoration for the game by creating an original piece that can be printed on a shirt, made into stickers, and other desired fan merchandise.
“I play to win!” One of her most heard tag lines in-game, “Love, D.Va”.

Often times I find myself to be really inspired by nature, especially the sky and outer space. I like to try and paint what I see or recreate images from what I see inside my head. Scenery is some of my favorite art to work on.

“It’s still you” If it wasn’t made obvious by now, I enjoy creating artwork based off things that inspire me, most of them being music, movies, or video games. Another video game inspired design of mine is based off a quote used in “Undertale”, a RPG that allows you to make the choice of saving or harming others, or to do nothing at all. It’s story and characters have made such a huge impact on my life; from that I created my own original piece using that important quote.

Without darkness, the stars cannot shine. If I’m not creating something from my passions and interests, my art is also based off emotions. When I’m feeling down, I often hit my sketchbook or open my art program to work; but if I can’t work and I’m unable to focus, I start to just draw out how I’m feeling. I end up with an interesting outcome.
My peers and my many of my other artist friends do this as well. This typically called “vent art” as it helps us to get negative emotions out of our system. While the tone of most pieces are solemn and dark, the finished product can definitely be seen as a work of art to others.

Poster Design This poster was a design I created for my class’ portfolio show. The word “mirai” means future in Japanese. As class, we decided that our show’s theme would be “the future of design”. I wanted to capture that message and feeling of that within my design.

Movie Poster “River of No Return” is a thriller based on the disappearance of several people and trying to figure what their initial fate really was. I felt that the best way to convey the tone of the movie was portray mystery and subtle eeriness.

Creating unearthly sceneries is a fun way of combining a few things I love: photography, graphics, and beautiful landscapes. So many thoughts and ideas go through my head everyday, it’s always constant. If I can’t draw it, I can put it together through a different form of media, one way or another.

Roads less tr Landscapes are some of my favorite things to photograph. I find the best locations are not ones you look for, but the ones that end up finding you. The most interesting and obscure places I’ve come across are ones that I stumbled upon on my own and those have resignated within me.
A stone guardian on stand proudly in the desert sun; an abandoned road hardly anyone knows, only to be with the hash wind that blows across it. I also like the capture the human spirit and the hidden potential we all have inside of us.

My goal is to create work that not only I love, but others will love as well. There is no greater feeling than knowing my work can inspire others and make them think about a piece, but also leave them with a positive feeling as well. Thank you for viewing my work.
