LV-S
FRONT BUMPER PREP We recommend removing the original bumper to fit the splitter, however it can be fitted with the bumper still in place if required. If this process is being followed please ensure the splitter is firmly clamped and taped into place until all adhesive is dry.
n Carefully remove the front bumper unit and strip down. n Offer the LV-S Splitter up to the bumper while it is off the vehicle and mark the ends.
n Key the surface of the painted bumper where the adhesive from the splitter will go (take care not to scratch the paint above where the splitter will fit). n Place the bumper back onto the vehicle at this stage.
LV-S SPLITTER PREP CENTRAL REINFORCEMENT FEATURE
Alignment features
Apply adhesive to the areas marked in red on the central reinforcement feature shown.
SIDE SUPPORT STRUCTURES This can then be rotated into position and clamped in place while the adhesive cures.
Apply adhesive to the areas marked in red on the support structure for each side of the splitter.
These can then be applied to each side of the splitter as shown. Do not fit the lower part of the splitter at this stage.
ATTACH SPLITTER TO BUMPER Apply a PU adhesive to the areas marked in red on the upper part of the LV-S Splitter.
With the bumper placed back on the van, offer up the splitter to the bumper (two-person job). Have tape ready, press on and tape tightly in place.
Clean off all excessive adhesive with panel wipe and use a small amount of adhesive to fill in the gaps between the splitter and the bumper (if any).
FIT LOWER SPLITTER As the splitter comes in two parts, it’s now time to attach the lower section using the clips provided. See images for clip locations and fastening method.
FINISHING OFF
Fully refit front bumper to vehicle and re-apply all grilles.
