welcome Summer Art Trail is a non-profit, ten-day, contemporary visual arts festival taking over the city of Leicester. Coordinated by Silver Vine Arts and partnered with City Festival, Summer Art Trail has an accompanying programme of exhibitions, residencies, performances, live music, pop-up art stalls and family workshops. @summerarttrail #summerarttrail @silvervinearts #silvervinearts Welcome to 2016’s Summer Art Trail. Summer Art Trail showcases the talent of national and international artists as well as highlighting the vibrant art scene in Leicester. We established the ten-day festival to bring together all art organisations across the city, helping to promote one another and support upcoming and established artists. We encourage everyone to visit all venues, try a workshop, see an event and support artists by purchasing artworks. This year we are excited to be introducing three artists in residence, artist talks, a guided walk, training for artists and a programme full of inclusive events. We thank everyone involved in the planning of Summer Art Trail’s third visual arts festival, especially the Silver Vine Arts team who have admirably demonstrated the adaptable abilities of visual artists.
