CONCEALED HINGES. INNOVATIVE. EASY TO CLEAN. Introduced by Josko in 1994, this is an invention we don’t really need to hide: our concealed hinges.

Attractive design, innovative technology and easy cleaning. Concealed hinges enhance the look of your windows and also stand out for the solid support they provide as well as being easy to cover with masking tape when carrying out painting work.

Concealed hinges with the turn limiter Nanolock are fitted as standard for the Platin and Safir window series and available as an option for all other systems.

THREE SEALS FOR OPTIMAL SOUND, HEAT AND AND AIRTIGHTNESS VALUES Josko windows are sealed in three ways. They ensure excellent airtightness and protect against noise and heat loss.

THE PERFECT FIT. The sash lifter raises the sash slightly when closing the window and therefore ensures a perfect fit for the closed window.

BASIC BURGLARY PROTECTION PROVIDED BY A STANDARD MUSHROOM PIN LOCK. Security breeds trust, which is why Josko windows are fitted with a mushroom pin lock as standard. It engages with the frame’s locking mechanism and prevents the sash from being levered out. Security levels B, SH-1 and RC2* are available on request.

Thanks to the new fibreglass, the Isostep ground sills for all terrace doors ensure an even softer transition without compromising stability, while at the same time ensuring good heating values. Isostep 20 and Isostep 30 have also been tested for protection against heavy rain.

SLANTING GLAZING REBATE LIP. Josko combines design with functionality, even in the tiniest of details: The slanting glazing rebate lip lets more light into the room and ensures a sleek look. At the same time, the slant improves air circulation and heat flow at the window and thereby reduces the formation of condensation on the glass.

The automated ventilation system integrated into the side of the window guarantees fresh air (air volume up to >30m³/h), even if windows are fully locked, and prevents the formation of mould in humid rooms.

Although the Ventra Comfort Ventilator is barely visible in the internal and external architecture, it nonetheless guarantees controlled condensation drainage – and this via the exterior window sill rather than the building’s facade.

The ventilator is not only easy to use and low maintenance but also saves energy thanks to heat recovery and low electricity consumption.

An integrated pollen filter is an option for allergy sufferers.

All-glass sliding doors were long regarded as eye-sores, which is why many design lovers avoided them altogether rather than make a poor compromise. FIXFRAME LIFT-AND-SLIDE DOOR DESIGN PERFECTION IN WOOD/ALUMINIUM Simple, slim frames and a flush exterior look make Josko’s FixFrame lift-and-slide doors a captivating choice. The innovation won the Red Dot Product Design Award 2009. The award is seen internationally as a seal of quality for design. Integrated into FixFrame Blue Vision as a single wing, the FixFrame lift-and-slide door is an absolute visual highlight. The wood on the inside creates a cosy atmosphere while aluminium or glass on the outside will withstand wind and weather for many years. The sliding wing is available on the outside as a highend, optional solution with flush-fitting layered glass or with an almost flush-fitting aluminium frame. The continuous transition to the ground on the outside is barrier-free. The ground outside meets the slim rail of the wing. Josko makes no compromise when it comes to design.

TEST PASSED WITH DISTINCTION. Josko’s Rubin 78, Diamant 89 and Opal lift-and-slide doors had to pass many in-hosue tests before being ready for the market. The persistance paid off. In the impermeability test coducted by Holzforschung Austria’s accredited test centre, the best results were achieved for resistance against air heavy rain and wind.

NEVOS GLASS THE AVANT-GARDE FRONT DOOR WITH GLASS SURFACE AND OPTIONAL AUTOMATIC DOOR-OPENER. Glossy glass surfaces in various enamel colours as well as elegant, black-coloured, Black Shine glass, highly reflective with metallic coating, provide a trendy and avant-garde design.

INVISIBLE TECHNICAL FEATURES With their concealed, electronic swing door opener connected to a motor lock, Josko front doors make coming home feel more comfortable than ever.

The solution was originally developed in the motor industry where the combination is used to open and close the tailgate automatically.

In our case, the handy invention makes it possible to open and close front doors as well as lock and unlock them. Josko’s interior doors also keep up with the sleek-look trend, especially with its MET flush-fitting door and frame system. The system is based on a special aluminium frame that can be plastered over or painted the same colour as the wall, thereby making it "invisible". The door leaf is completely flush with

the wall and can, on request, be painted to blend in with the wall using latex wall paint. For the MET 56 design, the frame is plastered over in the wall. For MET 40, the unrendered frame requires a groove of only 3 mm. NEW! Both MET56 and MET40 are available as inward and outward-opening doors.

Wood is a natural product, which is why slight colour differences (compared with our samples, when assembling individual profiles, between veneered and solid sections and when re-ordering) as well a slight unevenness as a result of the wood’s natural structure are unavoidable and marks of the wood’s authenticity rather than faults. Slight fluctuations in colour can even occur with uPVC an aluminium as a result of the material used and production process.
