EDITORS' MESSAGES That's not a knot - Thanawut Sreejak Pain to death. Shade and side. Narrow space with knives from God. Not today, but a force to the lot. Parrot, shortly – “That’s not a knot.” Don’t knot the thoughts. Torch the porch though sought the boss. Hellions fought but lost. Seek mercy. Freak phoney. Sneakily look in his dirty diary. Dirt to the purse. First glance at the nerd. Favor – your pussy hurt. Fever – cronies of the earth. Pusillanimity – take me to the church. Conciliatory for not perpetuating the beginning of retorting his curse. To all broken from the flood of failure in life, you are always gorgeous, and it’s fine to fail to prolong the pleasure in the lot – it’s just the beginning, period. Keep dreaming, hoping, and sometimes fucking the world.

Obsession FLORIST LEisurely Magazine: Please, introduce yourself to our readers. ADISORN: Hello, my name is Adisorn Karun. My nickname is Liu. I am a florist at Florista.

LEisurely Magazine: So, you are only a florist now? ADISORN: Yes, I have been a full-time florist since the beginning. LEisurely Magazine: Where did you graduate from? ADISORN: I graduated from Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts in Painting?

LEisurely Magazine: How about your online flower shop? ADISORN: Ah, that is my dream and life goal because it is one of the things that I can show my best potential and capability to people.

LEisurely Magazine: Why do you choose to be a florist? ADISORN: After I had been trying many jobs, it ended up with this one — the florist. I would say that it is my thing, bringing my skills that can spark many eyes of the people. I feel like people appreciate the value of what I have doing. So, that’s why I decided to walk in this path.

LEisurely Magazine: What kinds of flowers can represent yourself? ADISORN: What kinds of flowers? Actually, I don’t focus on the exact meaning of each flower that much rather than its functions. I think I am gypsophila — a small white secondary flower — used to decorate and highlight other flowers in the same bouquet to be more complete, spectacular and vivid.

5

LEisurely Magazine: So, it can be perceived as the supporter of others, couldn’t it? ADISORN: Yeah, it can be.

LEISURELY MAGAZINE: Now let’s compare flowers with each kind of relationship whether it’s lover, family, and friend. ADISORN: Gerbera tends to have lots of color shades, so it would represent my friends. For comparing family with flowers, I would pick lotus.

6

LEisurely Magazine: What does lotus represent for you? ADISORN: How can I say this? I just feel like lotus makes more sense and fits with the family context more because it was born from the soil, the mud which likely has lots of levels.

LEisurely Magazine: What about love? ADISORN: Love? I haven't had it for a long, long time. So I am quite unsure about that, indeed.

LEisurely Magazine: Imagine that a flower that shows your romantic relationship situation at the moment. ADISORN: That can be hydrangea which may befit my romantic feelings just now as its colors have changed to different shades because of the acid base of the soil.

Title: Chulamani According to the name of this artwork, it is based upon the myth that Phra Indra brought the ordained hair of the Buddha to be packed at Chulamani Pagoda on the Heaven Levels. This work was inspired by the art of Sim architecture in the style of Vietnamese craftsmen who immigrated from Vietnam, coming into the land of Northeastern Lan Xang. The technique is molding liquid-based cement, pressing the brass sheet, powder coating, and attaching the tile. Footnote: Laos or the Lan Xang Kingdom had Luang Phabang as the capital in the mid 14th century, in which it was known that from the 16th century onwards, Lan Xang vastly developed. Particularly, during 1548-71 or under the reign of King Xetthathirat, the kingdom changed the capital from Luang Phabang to Vientiane, and expanded its domain southeast (Masuhara, 2017).
