Denby has launched a new collection of high impact and stylish ceramic serveware pieces called ‘Statements’. As we are spending more time at home, there has been a resurgence in people updating their interior spaces to create inviting rooms that can be enjoyed every day. Homes can be instantly refreshed by introducing home décor items that bring colour, texture and pattern and much-loved serveware pieces that are often stored away are being put on display around the home and being used more frequently.

There are serving bowls, two platters, a tray and large jug available in Statements which showcases Denby’s expertise in achieving impactive glaze effects using an Ombre and Botanical effect. Every piece has been individually hand-decorated and differs from the next, creating unique pieces of art in the style of a studio potter in stoneware clay obtained from a clay seam close to Denby’s home in Derbyshire. Despite its decorative appeal, Statements has all the inherent strengths of Denby and is safe to use in the oven and dishwasher.

Riedel Riedel Cornetto Confetti

www.riedel.com

Executed in sparkling crystal and hand-made by Riedel in Kufstein Austria, the exciting new collection of decanters features vibrant colours. The decanters are not painted - instead the colour is crystal in itself, which is overlaid by hand onto the semimolten glass, as each decanter is created, and is embedded within the clear crystal structure - thus ensuring the vibrant colours will never fade or lose their brightness. These colourful pieces take inspiration from traditional Venetian glassmaking techniques, which are brought right up to date for the 2020s.
