PTMD
New season, new styles
PTMD collection is an independent design house exclusively for the independents. With a boundless love for innovation and craftsmanship, this Dutch lifestyle brand travels all over the world to collaborate with exceptional artists to create its signature rebellious luxury aesthetic
Launching in early June, PTMD’s new season showcases thousands of distinctive designs across its interior, furniture, faux and catalogues. This season, it introduces three key trends across its collections: Amorphous, Eccentric, and Earth. Amorphous
PTMD’s signature houseplant pot collection is an eclectic collision of contrasts. This season, it embraces distinctive candied toned amorphous pots which meet hammered aluminium planters, offset amongst organically textured maxi pots and luxurious fauna print vessels. The signature pot collection features designs inspired by the Amorphous aesthetic, which stands against rigid structure and prohibitions. This trend intermingles sumptuously smooth glazes, curvaceous form and alluring colour hues. PTMD encapsulates the spirit of the Amorphous aesthetic in its ceramic Neda collection, whose playfully curvaceous shape is lacquered in a luscious blush, mint and vanilla glaze. Available in eight sizes and three colourways, the Neda design is rich in texture, allowing each piece to be unique. Eccentric
PTMD’s lighting design epitomises its Eccentric trend, which is a celebration of adventure, discovery and idiosyncrasy showcased through grandiose art deco inspired glass light chandeliers, offset amongst cultivated natural pendants, which meet biophilic candelabras and playful glass LED lamps. Encapsulating Eccentric, PTMD’s Asther design features an irregular shuttered iron structure which plays with light and form. Earth
The S/S22 collection of home accessories seeks to create positive interior spaces with unique designled pieces which evoke personality. Its collection of interior creations epitomises the Earth trend: an exploration of the earth’s textures, colours and patterns. This home interiors collection is a celebration of flora and fauna: gilded animal statues in bell jars and mixed maxi print glass trays are complemented by striking biophilic foiled wall art and coral-influenced candle holders. Evoking the sacredness of nature, the whirlwind formation of PTMD’s Mazis iron mirror paints ornate flowers in a luxurious copper tone. Catalogues
Highlighting the best of Dutch design, PTMD works in partnership with award-winning Dutch floral artists to develop its best-selling faux botanical catalogue. In a seasonally evolving collection of more than 500 dried and faux designs, the floral artists use their horticultural expertise to develop a selection that reflects the true form of each plant to ensure maximally convincing pieces - you’d be forgiven for doubting their faux nature!
And from clean, utilitarian industrial pieces to cosy, glamorous designs, PTMD’s furniture catalogue presents a diverse collection of aesthetics. Its furniture design remixes minimal Scandi aesthetics and intermingles neutral staple pieces amongst designs with a modern, playful energy. The Jenter iron coffee table collection, for example, introduces fun sophistication into the home space, with its playful cookie cutter form and soothing metallic toned surface.
PTMD’s Christmas 2022 presents an alternative take on festive aesthetics with thousands of unconventional seasonal designs, quirky decorations, playful seasonal interiors, and a winter edition of its best-selling faux botanical collection. All designs in this collection are limited edition. Due to high volumes of interest, PTMD is encouraging interested customers to reserve their Christmas stock before lines sell out.
The new collection is available for delivery in 10-14 working days and can be reserved and sent over at your convenience. PTMD is always keen to hear from design-led independent businesses.
